Egg donation

Women with complete ovarian failure (can not produce eggs) may choose to opt for egg donation. For example, women with premature menopause and women with Turner syndrome may be offered donated eggs.

Patients may opt for egg donation if they have complete ovarian failure.

Egg donation involves retrieving of eggs from an anonymous or known donor, fertilizing the eggs by sperm of the recipient's partner and then transfering one or two good quality embryos to the recipient's uterus (womb). Details about egg donation is described in the egg donation.
