infection

Jackie Chances are this is nothing to worry about, but I had a bit of a bad experience after my section and it might or might not be of interest. I had a bit of pain and swelling after my section and when I mentioned it to the midwife she dismissed it. However after 10 days the wound opened and ther...

clomid

Thanks for the congrats all. Michelle - Definitely worth trying naturally as you have nothing to lose and for some reason it's not uncommon to suddenly be able to conceive after a pg. We actuyally got the clomid from Guys, the assisted conception unit that we used for our IVF. However you could prob...

It does happen

Don't know if any of you will remember me - I'm a real old timer on the site and don't often post these days. However I also have an unexplainable success story to relate. Tried for 4.5 yrs before falling pg after IVF with my son Max (born Nov 2002). Had some failed IUIs en route. However in Jan 200...

I have some good news actually - I have just found out that I am pg! I am trying not to get too excited yet tho...

Oldies - anyone still out there?

Hey - just logged on for the 1st time in a while and found this new board. Great idea as I have been wondering how all of the oldies have been getting on with their little ones. How is it going for you all? How are all of your little ones? Max is 23 mths now so just organising a party for his 2nd bi...

Hello again!

Lucy Thanks for your message. Can you believe that Max is now 17 mths old? It just seems like a few mths ago that we were all in the chat room and I was doing the 2ww. He is great - very entertaining. And very naughty. In answer to your question, I would love for Max to have a little brother/sister....

Mandy So sorry to hear your news. I had been wondering how you were getting on and had noticed that you had been very quiet. Sometimes you just think that someone is taking the piss when things like this happen. We had a similar experience ourselves recently unfortunately. Found out a couple of mths...

Hi Helen Just wanted to say don't worry about the weight. I put on 4 stone (!) with a singleton pregnancy. It took 8 mths to go on and 8 mths to come off. I made a little bit of effort but I think my body went back to it's pre-pregnant state after abut 5 mths and then the weight came off relatively ...
