Re: Twins: Who wants to discuss and share experiences?

Blair....It sounds like your two are pretty close in weight now. Mine have always been different. When they were born they were 1.5 pounds different and now at almost 5 1/2 months my boy is 18 lbs and my girl is 13 lbs. She has always been around the 25 %tile while he is almost always at 90 %tile ...

Re: Twins: Who wants to discuss and share experiences?

I am curious if anyone else is seeing an early intervention specialist for their twins? At my last pediatrician visit they suggested I call an early intervention therapist to have my daughter evaluated to see if they could offer some therapies in the home. This took me by surprise as I feel she is ...

Re: Twins: Who wants to discuss and share experiences?

Thank you for the welcome Margi...you're right, ours are very close in age. This has all been so exciting for me and I still find it hard to believe that I am a mother of two perfect little ones.

Isabel does great with the brace. She is uncomfortable at times and prefers not to be held much. That ...

Re: Twins: Who wants to discuss and share experiences?

I would love to join you. I have fraternal boy/girl twins. My pregnancy was fairly uneventful until about 32 weeks. At that point they began to worry about pre-eclampsia. I had steroid shots to help prepare for an early delivery just in case. At 34 weeks I was put on bedrest. I delivered Isabel and ...

Re: Beautiful Babies Born in 2011/2012

Baby_blu73 - I am also keeping Christmas presents small this year. I picked up a few little things that I though they would enjoy. My family will be buying them diapers and formula...keeping to necessities this year, but I am sure they will have a few surprises for the too. I love your Santa picture ...

Re: Beautiful Babies Born in 2011/2012

Dallas - I delivered my twins in the OR. My hospital delivers all multiples there just in case a c-section is necessary. You are getting so close! Are you hoping to do a vaginal delivery? That was my hope, but I ended up with a c-section since my little boy kept changing positions on us. Good luck!

Re: Beautiful Babies Born in 2011/2012

I would love to join everyone here...I cycled with a few of you during the summer of 2010 (an unsuccessful cycle). I then kept reading and following your stories, but didn't post during my second cycle which resulted in twins. I have found so much inspiration from reading your stories and can't ...

Re: Experience with Club Foot?

Thanks Babyluv. I appreciate hearing what you know. I am so excited about having these babies... I just want to make sure I am doing everything possible to have happy, healthy twins. The pregnancy is going so quickly, but I can't imagine them actually being here yet. I can't wait to meet my little ...

Re: Experience with Club Foot?

Deftonesmo ~ I appreciate you taking the time to share this information with me. I have done lots of research this weekend and I feel I now understand it better. It is defintely a sign a relief to see that it is treatable and that it is not painful for the infant. This was a major concern for me as ...

Experience with Club Foot?

I am currently 6 months pregnant with twins...a boy and a girl. Up until now everything has been going perfect. At my last appointment my MFM said there appears to be a problem with the little girl's foot. He said it was twisted and he believes she has what is called club foot. My first reaction was ...

Re: Beautiful Babies Due in 2011 (Combined Group)

I would love to join this thread...I think I'm finally ready. I cycled with some of you last summer during my first unsuccessful IVF attempt and found the support to be amazing. We went through our second IVF in January and received a BFP! On February 7, we had our first us and saw 2 sacs. We ...

Re: Fall 2010 Cycle Group

Lauren...Congratulations. I am so excited for you! I have been following all of you on this thread and your posts always make me smile.

AFM...I cycled with several of you during the summer thread. That was my first IVF and it ended in a BFN. I had my consultation with my RE at the end of September ...

Re: Summer cycle group

It looks like everyone has moved on from here, but I thought I would put this in writing and hopefully find some peace for myself. I just finished my first IVF cycle and received the phone call on Tuesday that it was a BFN and none of our extra embryos were able to be frozen. What a difficult day ...

Novarel Question

I had my ET last Thursday and after the transfer I was give a novarel injection. I then went in on Monday for bloodwork and they called me Monday night and told me to do another novarel injection. Any idea why? I go back in the morning for bloodwork again and will ask, but wondered if anyone knew ...
