Injections

I have been taking my injections for about a week now, and the skin on my stomach is getting very tender. We have been rotating sides each night, but last nights shots were very painful. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to minimize this discomfort??

Re: 1st time here---1st IVF!!

Yes, I most definitely felt nauseous taking the pill...like you, I hadn't taken it before. The only thing that I did was to take it in the evenings, like an hour or two before bed. That seemed to help things a little bit. Also, not letting my stomach get completely empty helped a little bit too! I a...

Re: Newbie! :o)

Babywishin926, I know that I most definitely feel awful around people who have "accidental" babies. My brother-in-law and wife had a baby last August, while we were TTC, and it was very hard to go and see them in the hospital. I am also a teacher, so it makes it especially difficult to see children ...

sassicassi - I can totally related to most of the people our age getting pregnant on "accident!" It seems like it should be such a basic thing, but isn't for people like us. I can't imagine how frustrating it must be for you not to have a reason for infertility. I hope that IVF is a success for you ...

I know that some st...

Re: Hi! First time posting

I know exactly how you feel about family not understanding what you are going through. My husband and I are your age as well...which in my mind makes it hard to understand why, at such a young age, are we put through all of this?! I worry a lot about the "what-ifs" and how hard it all is. But, hopef...

Newbie! :o)

My husband and I are gearing up to go through our first round of IVF next month. We are 25 and 26 years old. I have PCOS, and he has low sperm motility. We have been told that our chances of conceiving naturally would be less than half a percent. We didn't even try IUI, since the chances of success ...
