Hi Becky ! Long time no speak! Hope you are okay. I've had the same private message too. I've reported it to Dr Marcus yesterday as I was worried. Hopefully he can block this user (who hasn't posted any legitimate messages, but presumably just lots of these horrible private ones). Now I know you hav...

Hi Nicky. Hope you're okay - good to see you're going again. Right, are you sitting comfortably ......! Abstinence - 0 This simply means the number of days since last ejaculation. Zita reckons should be 2-5 days for a sample. I'm sure Care said the same. Volume - 1.2ml Quote from Zita : The normal a...

It's on the wrong forum - I don't know, what's going on - ?!*&!?! Anyway. Is the list correct ? Is today test day ? How ...

Hi Dee Welcome to the Site. Glad you've found us ! A count of at least 20 million per 1ml is considered to be normally fertile (the average is 60-80 million /ml). Motility - 50% or more is the 'normal range' Your lining - The endo needs to be about 10mm. There are ways of helping to build this up - ...

Hiya Caz Seven weeks on BCPs is a looong time ! I don't know why some girls are advised to take them - others not. Maybe it just depends on the clinic and their practise ? Or, do you have erratic AFs ? - Could that be it ? I think I agree with you, in that I'd rather have a natural rather than force...

Clair / Corrina et al ... My kind GP wrote me an NHS prescription too, but it all went horribly wrong - so beware !! The Private prescription said 'Menopur' (stimming stuff). My GP put 'Gonadotrophin' - again stimming stuff, but not actually specifying which drug (a bit like putting anti-inflamatory...

Hi Caz No, I've never been on BCP on any cycle. They're just to make sure you shut down completely, aren't they ? Why do you think may be more successful without them ? 37% sounds amazing. Don't think you'll get any better than that - plus with the clinic being on your doorstep, should cut the stres...

Hi Caz Yes, it sounds like the Cetrotide protocol. The cycle was really quick, compared to my previous downregging/stimming Long Protocols. You simply start stims on day 2 of cycle and continue until lead follicle is at least 14mm (at Care they say 14mm, other clinics will have their own measurement...

Hi Corrina I've just done a fresh ICSI at Care M/c. When you go for your consultation, you will discuss what Protocol you will be using (long protocol, Short/Flare protocol, Cetrotide protocol). Cetrotide seems to be all the rage at the minute (and it's good in that it's a really quick cycle) althou...
