Re: August 2012 Transfer Buddies

tawny- sorry to hear about the negative. I was told that on average (at my age) it takes 2.2 times to get a BFP but as averages are, there are some that get it faster and others longer.
We have no IFV coverage with our insurance - only some labs and US are covered - the rest is self-pay and you ...

Re: Progesterone Levels

Hi Kynlee - My RE is prescribing them for the 12 weeks only at that point the pregancy is established enough and you are producing enouhg on your own. Last time I stopped at 10 weeks. Everything above 20 is good. Since you are 12 weeks along there is no reason to continue. No need to worry - you ...

Re: Just found out my partner has ZERO sperm!

Hi Claire,arie- did the doctor and you talk about pesa or tesa? It is a surgical sperm retrieval explained below and might be an option but depends on the diagnosis.

Re: August 2012 Transfer Buddies

Patricia - going abroad is not so hard at all I guess the bad part is that in most cases it is not covered by insurance. My RE has an abroad program and it seems you would have to come over only twice the rest is done locally in the home country.

Re: How were your eggs fertilised?

Hi Cookie, I have no experience with that but was curious and googled. What I found is that other clinics on their site state that the sperm and eggs are left together overnight so it doesn't seem to be uncommon

Hi Tamicka - Ithe pio shots continue until week10or12 and unfortunately my RE is not up for patches prefers the shots because it the dose you inject will be in your body and I assume he isn't 100% on the patches.

Re: How were your eggs fertilised?

We did ICSI on all eggs as well. Low count and morphology issues. rE also said it would be a shame if I had to go through retrieval and then take chances with fertilization. Made send to me.
