Bella...yes the first days are hard - and nerve-wracking because it's the first time you are alone with your baby when dh goes back to work. All I can say is that it does get better. I remember feeling so much better when I sucessfully took McKenna to her 1 week doctor appointment by myself. After t...

Hi all :) How strange it is that it seems all of our little ones suffer from colic. I've heard that it gets it's worst at 6 weeks and slowly gets better from there. Sue, I also suffered from a bout of depression. I was very teary-eyed for about 3 weeks after McKenna was born. The only way I could de...

Hi all :) Congratulations to all of you here now as PARENTS!...wow. I think that is the neatest thing ever that we can all say we made it through and we're all blessed with beautiful children. So I think I'm in the same boat as many of you - colic. McKenna cries most of the time when she's awake. In...

Hi all! Just a quick note between feeding for baby and nap for mommy - we had our baby girl on October 17th! Her name is McKenna Ann and she is perfect. She was 7 pounds 7 ounces and was delivered via c-section after a long (and natural) labour. We're getting the hang of each other slow but sure. I'...

All in all...if nothing happens by Wednesday (18th) then we go in to be induced. Crossing my fingers that bab...

Hi everyone. So I had my dr appt yesterday. Up until now - my cervix has been shut tight - baby hadn't move down and no progress was made. Well, yesterday he checked me and I'm 2 - 3 cm dilated and the cervix is nice and soft. He seemed to think it could happen at any time - he wouldn't be surprised...

Julie, Oh my...I feel so bad for you having to worry this late in your pregnancy. BUT the good part is that your body is preparing to deliver - slow but sure. My prayers are with you - very much in my thoughts. Did you ask your dr about the possibility of pre-eclampsia? I would think all of your sym...

How has your pregnancy been going? Obviously very well seeing as you've made it this far. Can't wait to hear about your bi...

Hi everyone - Hope you all are feeling great :). I just wanted to share a bit of my birth plan with everyone. I do plan on going natural...all personal reasons - and I agree with everyone's sentiments on this - it's not a judgement on those who plan on epidurals - this is a personal choice that must...
