Hi Elles:

Welcome to our thread. Congratulations. Where do you live? I can see it says Indian Ocean but where does that mean exactly?

Miley sounds lovely. It is so interesting to see how their personalities develop. Not to worry about the talking. The babies in my baby group are all around 15 months and none of them are talking but saying a few words or Jibberish. Stephie says a lot of jibberish. The only word she says over and ov...

Hi Carolina Girl: All babies scream. They like to hear their voice. It will take care of itself. Stephie screams and I see joy in her eyes. She is just experiencing herself. I know it can be in-convienient out in public, but it won't last long. Also, You can't spoil a child at this age. Right now I ...

Hi Mandy: This is going to sound contrary to what you might think but the healthy sleep book would suggest you try to put her down earlier. They go in cycles and when they are over tired adrenaline kicks in and they fight going to sleep. They would suggest trying to put her down 30 minutes earlier e...

They are convenient and I am assured she has her vitamins and enough liguid. I am just offering Stephie milk at meal times in a doidy cup and t...

Not to worry about Miley. That is normal. Children start talking anywhere up to 2 and sometimes after that. Einstein didn't talk until he was 4! I wouldn't worry until after 2.

Love the picture of Miley. I am just completing her Baby book now on Shutterfly. It's amazing to see the year and how much Stephie has changed. We had a wonderful B-day party with 28 of our British friends, Grand Pa Pa on skype (he lives int he states). 6 of the 28 were kids. Stephie loved all the a...

Hi Everyone: I love the Easter gifts! We didn't get Stephie an Easter gift since we traveled to visit friends in France. Stephie did the Carosel for the first time and it was so cute. She was quite noisy on the late plane ride back and it made me not want to fly for awhile. She is at the point where...

Hi Cocoa: We meet at 8:00 and usually leave at 11:00. My DH watches Stephie. When I lived in CT I started a book club in my neighborhood by putting invitations in everyones mailbox and asking to RSVP if interested. 8 out of 19 neighbors responded so we met and rotated houses. In the states we also m...

Cocoa- Bookclubs are great for meeting people and having interesting discussions. It was a life saver for me when I first moved to England because I didn't know anyone. We had a book club in my neighborhood in the states also. Here we meet once a month. We alternate each others houses and we each ta...

Did you know that crawling is not even a milestone anymore. Some babies go from sitting to walking. Carolina girl, Stephie does not wave bye bye and she is 5 days from being 11 months old. However she is officially WALKING! She will get up and take about 10 steps before she will fall down. It's so c...
