Thanks so much! I tried the prunes again today just straight up as I was rushed and forgot to add it to rice...tomorrow I will try that. However, Kenzie ate it straight up! She chewed and swallowed!! Brooke, I think, just hates the taste. She makes horrible faces when I give it to her. So tomorrow I ...

Hey, my dad is an airline pilot so hopefully I can help a little. I would say just keep em on your lap. They are free. And yes they do get a bag for themselves. (I dunno if all airlines are this way, you can call them and ask though). Also, when you go up and down in the plane it is rough on their ...

Aw Rio, those gum smiles are the best! I love em too. Makes my heart melt. Brooke just started talking so it is nice to have them both talking now. I cried the other day just holding them because I just can not imagine my life without them now. And yes, I miss them being smaller! I mean I know they ...

Yay for new people! Welcome to all!!!

Courtney: I did BabyWise from the get-go but it did not always work lol. Mine slept all the time as they were preemies and we had a rough start at night as well in the beginning. I think they would want to stay awake after their 1AM feed which was horrible...or ...

Jade: Sadly we put Kayro in EVERY bottle of Brookes and it does nothing. That is why I think something else is going on but the pedi just does not listen to me!!! Wow sounds like your reflux is worse than mine. Mine spew just occasionally now. I went to the chiropractor and it was a charm! Only one ...

Well we tried it last night and I tried again with Kenzie this morning as she did not want her bottle. Well they just spit it right out. They still have the pushing out reflex with their tongues so I do not think they are quite ready. I will try with Brooke again tonight with prunes since she is ...

I thought it was early as well. I mean I will try it because I feel horrible for her! How long does baby food keep in the fridge if you do not spoon it out of the jar? I will be doing organic.

He said to start rice and oats too....I dunno if I want to though...I mean it is still early for their ...

Starting Solids

My twins are 5 months. (They were preemies so 3 mo adjusted). My doctor gave me the go ahead with starting solids. He wants me to put my one daughter on prunes to help with her constipation. I did not get any instructions as he was in a rush. *ugh* doctors.

How often should I feed them? What should ...

Well Kenzie either scratched her eye or something irritated it (like I thought!) so no pink eye. I would have been very interested in how she got that anyways!

I am a little irritated! The doc does not think it is the formula causing Brooke's constipation. He does not want to switch to the ...

I talked about the prunes on the constipation board...dunno if you are talking about me though lol. I am not too sure on how often. I would say once a day should do it depending on how much she eats.

At night they will eat at 7PM 10PM and 3AM then 7AM so like 5 hour stretch? I think like once or ...

I would agree with buying things used on craigslist. Again, not on car seats or anything safety. With twins, I had to use disposable because I spent enough time on laundry and feeding them so I did not want to spend more time there. Call it selfish but I need time to myself as well.

As far as toys ...
