One of the books says that 3rd tri is all about weight and waiting, and i think that's right. I'm feeling pa...

Ideally your prenatal vitamin should have 1 mg of folic acid which sometimes the over the counter ones don't. They also don't have DHA (omega 3's). I used an over the counter one until i got pregant, and then switched to something my doctor prescribed which has fish oil. You shouldn't need to take 2...

Hi ladies! glad everything went well, esperanza...sounds like DH's heart is in the right place...guys need a push sometimes as they can be dense...i looked into a class too, but my friend said it was a waste of time for her (she's an MD), and of course DH wouldn't have it considering its about $150 a session. ...

The cord blood registry is really trying to get us to bank any way we can, and i don't like their approach -its everywhere... It's a fairly new procedure and we don't know its value quite yet. I think they are overcharging for it by making us feel that we'll lose out if we don't. I know we fear the ...

Esperanza: thanks for your water comments...yesterday i kept a track of my fluid intake...and i had drunk about 3 soda bottles worth of fluid (6L) or so...i was quite thirsty too i think from the steroids and my sort of pre-diabetic condition. I guess the third trimester really whacked me - i though...

i think it all depends on the situation...my SIL delivered her first vaginally, but then the docs were unable to pull the other one out, and she underwent a c-section - probably the worse combo as you need to then heal from both procedures.... mine have been breech and transverse for about 10 wks no...
