I too am reliving the exhaustion of the first trimester. I do find myself waking up alot in the night though too. Only now, when I want to rol...

Hi Michelle! I have a 4y/o DD from IVF and decided to try for another baby last year. DH and I had our initial consult in Feb. but I decided to wait until the summer to cycle. At the initial consult, the doctor gave me a few prescriptions, and was ready to have me get going ASAP. Since my periods we...

congratulations on your pregnancy!! This is my third pregnancy, and like the ladies said, everyone is different. I kept waiting for morning sickness, and sore boobs. Never got them. I had a girl with my last IVF, and am presently pregnant with a boy with my second IVF.
I also heard that girls are more prominent with IVF.
Bottom line........it's out of our hands. Good luck!!! :D

Welsh~ So so sorry to hear about your loss. I suffered two ectopic pregnancies myself, and there are no words to make it better. Time is what helps. It sounds like you have a wonderful DH, and that is exactly what you need right now. I do agree with you that the people that work in the doctors offic...

Hi Kelly, First of all, I am SO sorry that you are going through this. I too found out that my husband had cheated on me way back in 1998. We were going through the "infertility" thing as well at the time. It wasn't until AFTER I had my DD that I found out what had happened. I initially threw him ou...

Hi, I spent a long time trying to get pregnant before turning to IVF. There was an amazing book called "taking charge of your fertility" by Toni Weschler, that talked about everything. Anyway, the book went on and on about "eggwhite" type cervical fluid. This was always the way to know that you were...

Hi! I agree with both ladies. I tend to not let people treat me like I am handicapped, but when it comes to lifting, and things that are really strenuous, I step aside and leave that to someone else. If I were in your situation, I would either invest in a snowblower so you don't have to constantly l...

hello hello hello! First.... Hello Annie. I can't lie, I cried when I read your post. You are such a strong woman, and the size of your great big heart shines through all your posts. Hi esperanza! Good to hear from you. Although I don't suffer from terrible heartburn and gas  at the moment, I did have both during my last 2 pregnancies, so I am awaiting it for this one as well. I had the stuffy nose for the past 3 months, and it has finally lightened up a bit, and I do suff...

Hi toobee, I never had a bad fall while pregnant, but I did work for EMS for 10 years, and I have picked up women who have fallen down the stairs while pregnant, and a woman who was struck by a car while pregnant. All the stories had happy endings and the babies were fine. We are so careful with the...

The one thing that I have learned throughout this journey is that you can get 10 different answers if you ask 10 different doctors the same question. I happen to have a high risk OB, and he is wonderful. He gladly welcomes multiples 2,3,4, and 5. I don't think it is a doctors place to push a woman t...
