Charr, First off, congrats on making it to the end of the 2ww-You cannot make much of any cramping, twinges, or spotting at this point. Esp being on vaginal supps-many women bleed from that, also, I wasn't on the supps-I took the injections and spotted on and off for the entire first trimester. Thin...

Hope-want to give you a personal experience of HELL that I went thru with the Nuchal Test. I too had a normal measurement 1.5- Anything under 3 is fine-they say. I at 35 had about 1 in 266 chance of a baby with downs too. When I got the call of my bloodwork my odds changed to 1 in 49!!! I was so dev...

Kristen, I would want to know like Michele said, why the switch?? I too had the shots, gave them to myself, & didn't mind them much. Funny though, CTMichele and I both went to the same doc (we both live in CT) She has a beautiful girl and the doc had her on the sups, I am now 33 1/2 wks with a littl...

Esperanza, I don't want to side with DH, but I will tell you that I took a childbirth class with DH prior to my 1st baby, and to be honest, they didn't tell me anything that I didn't already know. It seemed that at 32-My age at the time) I was by far the oldest lady there and it was mostly kids havi...

Kas, if I remember correctly-my NT scan was at 11 weeks which allowed me to have the CVS at 12 weeks-Just as a word of advice, a LOT of false postives with the NT which is only a screening-the measurement for me was fine, but combined with the bloodwork, I was suddenly High Risk. In the end , the CV...

CtMichele-thanks again for the great info! The pics of Ella are awesome!! We just may do that too!!! To everyone else, I figured I would give you a funny story about me of nesting that I didn't even realize I was doing. I am usually the big penny pincher in the house-not buying ANYTHING that I don't...

Sonu, the docs gave me a date of March 30th-I am having a c-sec b/c my 1st got "stuck" in my pelvis during delivery, a scary time for us, and very painful for me. He came on his due date at 8lbs 10 oz, 21"-I guess kinda big for my pre-pregnancy frame-Normally 135 and 5'6"-but I am now a whopping 175...

Musica- I too measured behind for the first couple of weeks, always about 4 days behind. The doc couldn't ever give me a real good answer to make me feel better but I can tell you that eventually my baby caught up, and I am now 31 1/2 wks with a healthy baby boy!!!! Good Luck, & try not to worry too...

Sonu-Glad all is well with you too! You girls are soooo funny, we have the opposite problem in my house - DH won't leave me alone, and I'm the overprotective one, saying we have come this far, and I don't want to do anything to disrupt the pregnancy or baby (paranoid, I know!!!) I also have a questi...

Babyloves, how exciting and scary for you all at the same time! You arent kidding when you say all you have to do is pack your bags. But you are also right when you say it's best to keep your babies inside as long as possible. I couldn't even imagine carring 2- I am exactly 31 wks 2 days like you wi...

Babyhope-That is an absolute "no brainer". If you stop trying just bc it doesn't fit into someone elses plans, you may spend the rest of your life wondering "what if?". Continue on with your own journey, creating your own destiny, and if she is a true friend, she will be so excited for you when you ...

Ca, You & dh have youth on your side. I am 36 & dh is 34. This was our first IVF cycle. We did have 2 failed IUI's. I know that with what I've read about ICSI gives so many men the chance to have biological children who otherwise wouldn't have been able to. It has been such a great blessing for me &...
