Hey DK,

sorry I can't help you personally, but I did read that several ladies on the June July cycling post had had previous or current success with only one embryo - it is a big post, but if you have time, it may give you some positive support!!

Good luck to your one little one!

Hey everyone, Not much different over here, aside from the queasiness that isn't too bad right now, and trying not to sleep all day.... Abogenpohl - Please check in when you can. We are concerned about how you and the little ones are doing. Take care! CK - I know that feeling of being really hungry ...

NT scan

One more question - how many of you have decided whether or not to do the Nuchal Translucency Scan? We had decided against it a while ago, but I do hate to give up an opportunity to see the little one again at 3 months.... I also only got the one scan at 7 weeks and then nothing until the optional a...

Hello everyone, Abogenpohl - you are in my thoughts and I am sending you all the best embryo development vibes for baby B to catch up and that you see a stronger heartbeat the next time around. As you probably have read, this has happened to others before, so don't lose hope. However, Julie's wise w...

Thanks both of you! I am definitely flying. I did some research as well, and the only issue that appears to arise is bad morning sickness (okay) - the other possible concern, but that they say has no impact on the fetus or embryo, is the exposure to radiation. That may be why certain Drs caution the...

PS - for nausea - crackers are indeed working for me - I keep a little baggie for running out of the house, or even late at night when it hits. But, I just tried mini-carrots - crunching them had the same positive effect, and I fel that I was getting something healthy in me - worth a try!

Wishfull - Congrats on seeing a strong heartbeat! I also had my first scan today and we saw a nice, strong heartbeat. 117 and 9mm CRL, measuring 7 weeks, at just before 7 weeks. I am very happy to have this confirmation - seeing it does help you believe! Julie and Sabi - I vomited for the first time...

We were told that the full bladder allows a better view of the uterus, which is otherwise obstructed by other internal materials (not sure what exactly - ligaments, organs, fatty tissues?). IN particular if someone is not a very slender person, it is that much more important to have a full bladder, ...

In case it gives you more peace of mind going forward, I also experienced that during stims and then after ET, also, during the 2WW. It slowly decreased after I got me BFP. Good luck!! MG

Welcome CK! I echo all of Sabi's comments - we all love to research beta numbers ad nauseum (no pun intended...), but in reality, they are all over the board. If you have decent numbers to start (generally, 100 or higher at around 14 days post ovulation), that is a good sign, and if they increase by...

Flying in 1st trimester?

If anyone has any experience with this, or has been told not to: I am planning on making a short (1 hour) flight at 7.5 weeks. Does anyone kow of advice that it is better not to fly, given that the embryo/foetus is still in its most important developmental stages at this time? It never occured to me...

Welcome Sabi!! I was wondering when you might join this thread - I was very happy to see your BFP and betas last week - congrats! I am due just two days before you, March 2 (unofficially).
