Jenice- your post has been a real comfort to me- especially since you have practically described my DH to a T! That's exactly what he needed- to be pretty much told how to behave, what to say and how to comfort me- we had that talk and now we can now talk about it all, which I guess is so important....

Am so sorry for your loss loulou. I just know exactly how you feel. It's been about 3 weeks since my second miscarriage after IVF and 1 week since my D&C. After the first miscarriage, I got back to 'normal' pretty quickly and felt really positive about the next round of IVF. This time is unbearable....

Hello! Gi- I am glad they were able to remove some more nasties from you- now you should be all clean and comfy for any future embryo to attach and grow! I ended up having a D & C yesterday- am so glad I did as the bleeding just hadn't started naturally. This way, like you said before, at least I ca...

Hi gi Thank you for all your advice. You're a real inspiration - after everything you have gone through, you still have such a positive outlook and I'm sure that has helped you in getting through those challenging times. I have an appointment today to see if I need a D&C or if I can just let it happ...

Hello my Irish cycle pal! How lovely to hear from you. I do remember you suffered those heartbreaking miscarriages- it's so unbelievably heartwrenching - I am completely with you there. Anyway it was so encouraging to hear your story as I too was told they wouldn't do any tests until after a third m...

Yet another loss!

Just need to vent my feelings after discovering my 10 week fetus has no heart beat. It's my 2nd miscarriage after 2nd round of IVF. At the moment I just want to give up doing any more IVFs- it feels like such a cruel blow. Worse still, I have to wait to come off the cyclogest before I can start blee...

hi ladies caprice- good luck with all those meds - at least it keeps you out of hospital. Great about your identicals! Rikirees- it's never nice taking injections - again- but at least they will help protect you guys. I spotted light brown blood last night - freaked me out, but hear it's quite commo...

Hello! Well, Mommieof2 - I can't say I've experienced the hairy belly - but maybe I need to inspect a little closer! At least your ultrasounds are all positive, that must be reassuring. My consultant is in the Sudan and can't get a flight out until next week so my scan has been postponed for a furth...

Hello ladies, Just popping in on your thread... am nearly 9 weeks pregnant. Have a 10 week scan next week. Just thought I would ask, do any of you ladies go through periods when you have no symptoms at all? Get quite worried when this happens, especially after previous m/c. I think the worst! Just c...

Teacher2b- I would definitely freak out doing that too! When you're going through this whole IVF process, sometimes you just can't predict how you're going to feel about things - even the smallest comment. I haven't quite had same experience as you, but i have 3 close colleagues who are all pregnant...

Gi, Keep the faith and don't worry too much about numbers. The thing is if you weren't going through this whole IVF procedure you wouldn't even know about the numbers! And as for not feeling anything, a friend of mine is 4 months pg and hasn't felt even so much as a twinge so far -so it's perfectly ...
