Just a quick note: The fert report is not so good. Of the 17 eggs, only 8 were mature, and only 4 fertilized. While that's kind of a bummer, I just need 1 embie to make it. I'm cheering on all 4 from here. The crazy part is that they will call me on Saturday to either 1. Come in for a transfer that ...

What a wild ride this IVF journey is! jenn913 - My RE said I was going "totally under" for ER, but when I talked to the anethesologist (sp?) he kept calling it "twilight". All I know is that I don't remember anything after "you may feel a little pain in your arm..." until they were calling my name t...

Here is a link to the CDC's report on clinic statistics: http://apps.nccd.cdc.gov/ART/FCT.aspx?SelectedYear=2007 Of course it doesn't tell you whether or not you will feel comfortable with these folks, if they have a knack for your specific issues, but it's a start, I guess. It's only a bummer if th...

Like beta numbers and follies, this thread keeps getting bigger! hehe. Johannanita - Thanks for praying for all of us. You've given me a lot of food for thought as well, regarding the sharing of information. DH and I haven't told anyone what we are doing, including work and family. I get up at 4:30 ...

Woo hoo to Wolffie & Johannanita. :D AFM, I saw some follies today, which makes me much happier than the last visit where I saw nothing. My clinic produces these colorful 3D pictures of your follies, so they look like bits of different colored play-doh stuck together. It was not what I was expecting...

Lady J - You made me cry. A few years ago me and a couple other coworkers individually asked one of the ladies at work if she was preggers during her TWW. None of us knew the others were doing it. None of use knew she was going through IVF. We just all sort of sensed she was a bit off. As it turns o...

statsgoddess - I am doing morning and evening shots of gonal-f. Evening also includes a low dose HGC shot, a lupron shot, and a baby asprin. I think last night was the first night I've woken up in the middle of the night, so I'm hoping it was just a fluke. claud662 - I'm not getting my E2 numbers e...

statsgoddess - I started Stims on Saturday, too. They are not making me feel good either. I have a headache and falling asleep has been hard. I go back on Tuesday to check out the follies. I kind of hope they are giving me too much of everything and maybe they will cut it back. With my luck they wi...

Wolffie - You're in Chi, too? How fun is that! You wouldn't happen to be going to a clinic in Gurnee would you? I was just thinking that would just be too weird. Johannanita - Thanks for posting that great information. I start stims tomorrow. I can't believe how excited I am about sticking myself w...

OMG. So many other divers here! It's been 6 years since my last dive cause I live in Chicago now and DH doesn't dive. So maybe I can't call myself a diver anymore. :P Belize was my favorite dive. There was sooo much to see there. Hooray for all the BFP's!! And happy, healthy baby dust to everyone. A...

Hi everyone. I lit a candle by the fertility doll in my kitchen for all of us. I have no idea where this crazy thing came from, but I've been told it's African and of course "It's guaranteed to work!" Well, with a guarantee like that, how could I not? Hmmm. I'll have to post a picture of this lovely...

So... I just realized I haven't posted since page 11. I'm still here, but every time I start writing I realize what a self-centered downer of a post I'm making and decide to skip and write some when I'm not going to bring everyone down. For me, everything is on super slow mo and keeps getting pushed...

So, AF is two days late. The waiting is driving me mad. I'm usually so very regular, it's starting to freak me out a bit, too. It's a bit like going to bed, thinking that Christmas is tomorrow morning, but waking up and finding out you have to wait another day to open presents. Sometimes I think som...
