Dear Dagny,

I have just logged on and read your post. I cannot begin to know what you and your husband must be going through at the moment. My thoughts are with you both and I hope and pray that there might be a happy ending to all this.

Dear Tracey, I hope that everything is okay when the midwife comes round. I'm sure it will be, but I can understand why you're worried - after all you've been through in the last year. The midwife might have laughed at you, but please don't worry about calling people (midwife / hospital) if you don'...

 Well done!! I'm so pleased for you and your hubby that although Sam arrived early, he's perfectly healthy - that's all that matters.
Hope he continues to do well - enjoy your new life of sleepless nights, etc (it's all worth it).

 where do people get these stories from?

I'm 5'2" and I was induced after 1 week. Mind you, I was 3 weeks early and my mum is 4'11"!!

Dear Sue,

I had prednisolone 25 mg / day for active NK cells on my 4th cycle. I now have a very healthy, if a little large (9lbs 4oz) baby boy - maybe the steroids helped him grow!

Good luck!

:D Dear Shell, I am thrilled to hear your news!! I bet you're both soooo pleased that it's all over now. What an absolute whoppa you had there - everyone always said that he would be big, but THAT big!!! WOW!! Your story sounds so much like mine - induction which didn't work, followed by a c-section...

Hi Helen, I think the general advice seems to be not to wear under-wired bras during pregnancy due to the milk ducts. I found the M&S bras very comfy (the maternity ones rather than the nursing ones, which you don't need just yet). The Mothercare ones were too flimsy I found, plus M&S do lacy ones i...

Dear Sue, I had acupuncture before and after ET on my last (4th) cycle and I now have a lovely bouncing boy. I cann't say for certain that it was the reason I finally got pregnant, but it certainly didn't do any harm. It may help you to relax and studies have been done showing an increased pregnancy...

 Bloody hell Shell what a whoppa!!!! The thought just makes my eyes water! I assume he was born by caesarean - otherwise it would have been a struggle to get him out. I though Daniel was big at 9lb 4oz!! Phew - I bet that mum and dad are just so thrilled that he's finally arrived, Love Alison...

 Sounds familiar what Shell is going through. We must have lazy babies!!

I'm sure she's fine and if she's had a c-section she may be in hospital a few days, so probably won't have an opportunity to get to a pc.

Here's hoping we'll hear some news soon,

:o Dear Louise, I'm so pleased that things are going well for you. Looking after 1 baby is hard enough, but it must be hard with 2. I guess that things will get easier once you settle in to a routine - that's what I keep telling myself! It's so wonderful to be holding a baby (babies in your case) in...

:) Thanks everyone for your kind words. Just done the 3am feed and trying to get him back off to sleep, so thought it a good opportunity to catch up on a few emails, etc (there doesn't seem enough time during the day). Still cann't believe how lucky we both are to have such a beautiful son - it make...

Shell - best of luck for today. I imagine that by the time you read this post you'll either be in labour or already had the baby if it's by c-section.

Looking forward to reading your news,

Baby has finally arrived!!

:D Hi all, Just to let you know that Daniel William arrived safely on Monday 26th Jan at 1.25 pm. We only came out of hospital on Friday, and I haven't had a spare 5 minutes to get on here until now! It really does take all your time up having a new baby. The birth didn't quite go as I had planned -...
