Hi Gem Being induced is really totally fine (I was)- but just be prepared that you have no "warm up" so when labour starts (mine started as soonas my waters broke) its hurt ALOT and quickly - so get yourself an epidural - it WILL NOT stop you pushing and makes the whole thing alot less stressful - l...

I was told that ALOT of people bleed and cramp and are totally fine -I think its the embryo implanting and the uterus changing - you will get ALOT of weird pains and symptoms over the next few months....try not to worry!

Any advice on inductions?? Because of falling amniotic fluid

Have written longer story on "pregnant after treatment" thread but just wondered if anyone here could help?! Doctor has being saying for a couple of weeks that I'm measuring a bit on the small side and today says that my amniotic fluid has fallen a bit (was 11cm now 8cm). Wants to induce me tomorrow...

thanks lovelies....all the best to you too!! Won't be long Gem! I had sweep today....its a bit uncomfortable (bit like a smear) - but not bad at all. I had a bit of blood after and have had very slight period type pains today but nothing mega at all. Will try and keep you in touch - will be hanging ...

thanks so much for your replies to my previous message re measuring small. So SOOOO appreciated. Well the "saga" continues.....went in today and the doctor measured amniotic fluid on the scan (he seems to have done this the last couple of weeks - anyone else ever had this done?)...anyway, its fallen...

thanks ladies Am seeing doctor this afternoon (routine check up) - so hopefully all will be well. I spoke to him on Christmas eve as I got myself into right on stew - and he did calm me down a bit!!
