Re: please help

Sue
That's awful.
Be good to you - massages, baths, etc.
Then, when you are ready, think about your next step

Re: Success stories in early 40s

Cookie, thx for the encouraging words. Yes I'm using my own eggs but it's only 22 days not weeks :-(
We learned to be cautious optimistic after the positive blood test, still when signs pointing to the
Wrong directions it's still scary. Haven't told anyone including families, most of them live ...

Re: Success stories in early 40s

Margi
I have been taking dhea for only a month. I can start the cycle tomorrow. Efts is 5.5 and estrogen 175 and progesterone 9.9. Finally got my period. My doctor uses DHEA for all her patients over 40. I am hoping to see some results even though it would have been better to take it for longer.

Re: Success stories in early 40s

You've come to the right place. There are lots of very supportive women on this forum. I have a 14 year old daughter and am only now trying for a second. Life is complicated and there may be many years between opportunities to have a baby. Did you use your own eggs? I am sure you will be fine. 22 ...

Re: Success stories in early 40s

Yea!! Not MAD at all...determined 8) Sounds like you have a terrific plan, and I don't think I mentioned it before, but I used guided meditation as well (specific for IVF). And as far as the acupuncture goes, I found it to be incredibly relaxing....far more so than any massage I ever had, so for me ...

Re: Success stories in early 40s

Thanks Tess and Margi

I had my blood tests to see whether I could start the mods today but my estrogen is 300 and progesterone 13 both of which should be less than 200 and more than 20 respectively. This is supposed to be the second period following the bfn but all I have is a bit of spotting and ...

Re: Success stories in early 40s

Ok, call me MAD but I am going to embark on a 2 nd round of ivf. My AMH is 10.5 nd FSH is 5.8. These are good for my age. The only impediment appears to be my age. I have changed clinics, doctors and am now on DHEA which you can only get by prescription. I am even trying self hypnosis. Found a great ...

Natural conception after failed IVF

Dear All

I was wondering whether anyone has heard of people becoming prenant after an unsuccessful round of ivf. I am 43 and have had one round of Ivf which resulted in 6 follicles, 5 eggs, all fertilised and 2 transfers of compacted morulas. I have now changed clinics and am seeing a more ...

Re: Success stories in early 40s

Oh and forgot to say that they got 5 eggs all of which fertilised and 3 made it to 5 day transfer. My first cycle was a bit "one size fits all" with synerel and injections. My body did not respond well the the protocol and the dr ramped the fsh up in the last few days which I suspect did not yield ...

Re: Success stories in early 40s

Hi Margi
Yes had all the tests and all normal. Further refined my diet no caffeine and no alcohol. Very fit so watch my diet, lots of protein, fruit and veggies plus flax oil, fish oil, frolic acid etc etc.

Wouldn't use donor eggs....would do so if I didn't have any children.

Hard to know which ...
