Anyone get a BFP on their 9th attempt or know s/one who did?

Hi all I am on my 9th attempt (if you include abandoned attempts which my clinic does) and am hoping for some encouragement. I have heard of so few women who carry on after a few negatives that i feel like I'm on my own here. I'm downregging for a medicated FET at the moment and just wanted some enc...

Hi

my clinic makes us do a HPT two weeks after ET for both fresh and frozen. I have always been very good and not been tempted to test early but i know it's hard.

Hi everyone many thanks for your replies and suggestions. I did an HPT last week in case a supersperm had managed to leap the divide between the cut tubes in my dh but of course it was -ive. I called my clinic this morning and they said that they won't let me take anything to bring on my period as w...

Hi really hope this is your turn, sounds like you've been waiting a long time like so many of us on here. i'm preparing for my 9th attempt. Having lost 10 frosties we were taking to blasto stage last time, I am having a natural cycle as the chances of the last 2 frosties surviving are slim and i can...

Hi i'm sure that different clinics have different rules but i had to wait for 2 months after mine. It depends what you have done. I had some surgery for a few things they found while they were having a look. If they don't find anything wrong with you, you may be able to try quicker. good luck! Natal...

Hi all thanks so much for your replies, they are helping me sort things out in my head. I don't think I'm ready to give up yet unless the consultant tells me i'm wasting my time but I'm not really sure what to do next. I've stopped crying anyway which is something but i'm sure it'll start again soon...

Should I call it a day?

Hi All Not posted for a while but find myself turning back to you all again as you are always a help. My 8th attempt was just abandoned as we were taking 10 thawed embies to blastocyst stage and none of them made it. (6 weeks of drugs for nothing and yet more heartache). We've only got 2 frosties le...

Hi many thanks for your reply. i had an NKC biopsy which actually took tissue from my uterus. this was more accurate than a blood test and the results came back as normal so we ruled that out but thanks for suggesting something anyway, i appreciate it! i'm seeing the consultant in a couple of weeks ...

Hi my dh had Surgical Sperm Retrieval. The sperm cannot swim anywhere, it just "twitches". this means that you have to have ICSI where they inject the sperm right into the egg instead of IVF where they put the sperm and egg in the same petri dish and let the sperm swim to and penetrate the egg. Plea...

Hi what country are you in? are you in the UK? Did your dh have the ope where they try and suction it through an incision or did he have the biopsy where they cut out small sections? My dh had SSR at Liverpool Women's Hospital in the UK and his consultant has a 100% success rate - he has never not g...
