Hi Sandra,

It's so nice of you to stop in! Yes, it does not seem real, even still to me.

I hope all is well with you. I miss our August Buddies group. It's not the same without all of you. As you can see, it is much quieter over here.

Staci! I was just searching for posts from you to see where you had gone and I found this thread. I'm so sorry that you have to go through this incredibly difficult and awkward time with your SILs. I can't imagine how painful it must be. I had a terrible time when all of my friends at work were preg...

 Paige, Very funny. Yes, why not a new thread for all our arrivals! I had a weird night on Sunday. I had contractions all night, and was convinced the boys' birthday would be Monday. I didn't call the doctor, because I was able to fall asleep again - guess I was just too tired to deal with it u...

Cate, So you did finally find out? You're having a girl? How wonderful! I like Kristy. It sounds like a model's name to me. Would the given name be Kristine? That was my best friend's name when I was a little girl. We are thinking of three names we like: Felix, Emmett, and Trevor. I think we will en...

Alette, I am SO thrilled for you and pray that everything goes well. We cycled together once. Maybe last June or August? So I'm really glad that this cycle is going well. I was also so afraid after my first IVF miscarriage. I had a lot of bleeding early in this pregnancy, and several times was convi...

Kim, My HCG levels were (days post transfer): Day 11 - 272 Day 13 - 596 Day 18 - 8626 I am currently 33 weeks pregnant with twin boys. I had red bleeding up until 7 weeks, so they did some early ultrasounds. They saw two sacks at 5 weeks, but did not acknowledge twins until they saw two heartbeats a...

Paige, So glad to hear you're doing better. I hope it goes away completely very soon. Then you can rest up and be healthy for labor. I've been sleeping well too, as the rash has gone and my skin is starting to heal. Cate, Wow! Not long now. Is April 26 a scheduled C-section for you, or just the doct...

Paige, You poor thing! I hope you recover quickly and thoroughly. It must be a drag having to rest when you have so much to do, but you are probably exhausted anyway. Hopefully you will have lots of help with the final preparations so you can just take it easy and get better. It must seem like the v...

Paige, Oh you poor thing. That sounds so miserable. I hope the medications kick in soon. It must be scary to cough like that. I also feel like if I move the wrong way it will cause contractions. I have a prescription for a gall bladder medication that's supposed to fix the liver problem. They will t...

Paige, Sorry to hear about the bronchitis. Being sick and pregnant is such a drag. I hope you recover soon. Tanya, I'm looking at breastfeeding tops too. It makes me a little sad, because sometimes I think they are even uglier than maternity clothes! I do like this one website though, http://www.mot...

Blah. The rash has spread to my feet, hands, arms and legs. I'm going to the dermatologist this afternoon. Hope it is not a liver problem.

On a cheerier note, I washed the baby blankets and preemie clothes yesterday. They are so small and adorable! Folding them made it all seem so real...

Sue, Congratulations! Remeber to eat a ton of food, especially if you were underweight to begin with. I read a book called "When You're Expecting Twins" by Dr. Barbara Luke (published in the US). It really put the fear in me, but it did make me eat a lot. Now I'm at 31 weeks with twin boys and I can...

Claire, The poster on your other list may have an infertility problem, and not even know it. I used to think like that too. Even after 2 years TTC, I blamed my job and all the travel and stress. I was shocked to find out that my tubes were completely blocked and I was given zero chance without IVF. ...

In California they tell us not to eat soft cheeses like brie, goat cheese, Mexican cheese, and any blue veined cheese. Those cheese make up one of the major food groups here, but I don't know if they are eaten as much in Europe. It's because they can have some sort of bacteria that can cause miscarr...
