Dear Mel,

Just read your big baby post and can sympathise with your concerns. I have been having growth scans and last Monday's the baby weighed in at 6lbs 5. I was 34 weeks 5 days! I am only 5"3 and slim (though hope having a"full" bottom means wide pelvis) It is also measuring about 2 ...

Hey steph,

I would give your midwife or Doc a call and just double check that everything is all ok. I had the occasional leak and everything was fine but it is always nice to get reassurance.

Hi Charlie and Richard,

I hope everything is ok with your check up. I suppose once you have the decision made for you it means you can start to prepare mentally for either situation.
I have started my active birth classes which have covered yoga breathing for first stage labour and the first stage ...

Charlie with your hip and pubic bone pain have you thought it could be SPD? Not sure what the initials stand for but from the few girls in my yoga class who have it i gather the early symptoms are ...

Glad to hear you are all ok and that the BH's have settled down for you Julie. Do they do maternity pay in the states? I recall from one of your previous posts that if you didn't work you got no $?! I am ...

Hi guys,

I can sympathise entirely with Charlie - those night cramps sure do hurt!! A tip i have been given is to drink a small glass of milk or tonic water before you go to bed. I have also stopped sleeping with a pillow between my kness and that seems to have helped as well.

I would not panic ...

Evening everyone,

Sorry to have been so lax about logging on - will try harder Charlie!

I am massaging my belly with so much oil and cream Chel to try and avoid those stretch marks that when i go to bed at night the sheets stick to me!

Don't worry Julie i have bought nothing but one pack ...

Dear Lis,

My clinic and the guru Zita West both recommended gentle exercise only in the first few weeks. Zita actually recommends 2 weeks rest whilst your embryos are implanting. I followed her to the letter and it worked for me but if you feel you will go stir crazy then just go power walking ...
