update

hi everyone - i have a lot of catching up to do! I'm still on strict bedrest and typing from supine position is kinda hard but I am so happy DH figured out how to set this up in the bedroom for me. I feel connected again!! We've had a scary week - 3 more new bleeding episodes and with each one I'm s...

I'm so pleased to announce our sono showed twins today! Had a major cramping/bleeding scare yesterday and we were both convinced it was all over. We were so shocked and delighted this morning when we saw both heartbeats!! I have a very large subchorionic bleed which is larger than both sacs together...

re: sad news

thanks susan - you were right! Sono showed twins today with healthy heartbeats! We were so shocked and delighted. I have a very large subchorionic bleed which is larger than both sacs together and the dr. is concerned about it impacting the beanies, so I'm back on bedrest and will now be taking 2 PI...

We were so looking forward to our scan tomorrow - big question on our minds being whether it was twins or singleton. B...

Hi everyone, hope you're all doing well. We were so looking forward to our scan tomorrow - big question on our minds being whether it was twins or singleton. BUT, I was feeling really unwell yesterday and spent most of the day lying down, woke up this morning with cramps and tons of bleeding. Dr. ha...

((((Hayley)))) - you are not alone! In fact you made me feel much better - I am not a 'good' pregnancy person and have been feeling guilty about every negative thought. Especially after IVF you're expected to be so thankful and blessed etc -- and of course you are -- but feeling sick sucks no matter...

Hi LV - welcome and best of luck! I went back into my archives and found some advice on the Progesterone (PIO) shots - those are the scariest because they're intramuscular. The others you'll take before you have eggs collected are not bad at all - you just have to get used to jabbing yourself. I did...

Hi Rachel - welcome to the boards. I think you'll find some ladies with similar experiences in the General and IVF Forums. Sounds like you've been through a lot and I wish you all the best in your next step!! Do you mind me asking where you live? I seem to see variations between how they do things i...

langton

Langton I just have to say you gave me the best laugh I've had in days with your "bugger her the spiteful cow" comment, I was thinking something very similar but the way you put it is the best!!! Vita just remember whatever her reaction - it's about her, not you and don't let her make you feel unhap...

mortisha

Hi Mortisha - great to see you've started the cycle again, wishing you all the best! I also got lots of bruises from the sub-q shots, though it was strange cause so many ladies indicate it's no big deal but figured we're all different - now I'm learning each cycle can be different, too! Hope this is...

Hi Emma - I'm feeling quite stupid, don't know what downregging means but what you're dealing with sounds very frustrating!! I'm thinking of you and wishing you all the best, sorry to hear you're dealing with complications in addition to IVF. I had a cycle cancelled early because they found out I ne...
