Hi all Wisconsingal - I wish I could make the next 2 weeks go quickly for you so you can get another scan.. I am sure babies must develop at different rates as this whole thing seems to be a bit hit and miss so it may well catch up to where it should be by the next time you are scanned. I know that'...

Hi There have been a number of succesful pregnancies here lately with donor eggs in Europe. If you come over to the 'over 40 crowd ' thread on the general forum you will find people with experience of ISIDA in Kiev and IM in Barcelona. I went to IM and did get pg but sadly lost it early on. In the U...

Hi To Wanda and Julia - I am sorry to see your results - it's not easy however many times you have been through it. I am fine, DH has gone off skiing today for a week, left at 4am. This means my first week of 2ww will go quickly as it always does when he's away. I have another day of doing very litt...

I decided to call the clinic in the end - they said no reason not to drve myself. The lady I spoke to said they don't use any sedatives, which implied that some places do use them (although nowhere I have been) so perhaps that's why some people are advised not to drive

A good cross section of replies, thankyou ladies. Interesting what you say, N77, about this being your first cycle. This is my eight cycle and will be 4th ET, so maybe it doesn't feel as significant to me any more. I see that having had EC I could be a bit woozy for a few days but I am using donor e...

Should DH come to ET?

Hi, thought I'd throw this open to all - I have ET tomorrow. I believe the least stressful option is for me to drive myself there and back and then on to acupuncture, which I am having afterwards. Why is it people have DH drive them? If it is to do with the actual driving what is the difference betw...

Hi all Julia - I really beliveed af was coming and then I got a bfp last time round, I had cramps and bloating and felt exactly like I do before af. I don't think you can read anything into any cramps or other feelings. You just have to wait ....best of luck Now - a question for all of you - I think...

Hi Sorry to hear of your unsuccessful cycle. It's natural to start looking around for new clinics to try but I would say if you are happy that the hospital have treated you well and you feel comfortable there then stick with it and don't put too much emphasis on their published results. It may be th...

Hi All Yasmina - Eloise is absolutely beautiful! Tammy - you next - hope all is going well Julia - sorry to see your results but as you say, it only takes one. I did better on the flare protocol than whatever else I was on before that one (long time ago!) so I guess they just work differently for di...
