Tammy, We switched Declan to the Enfamil AR because he was so obviously in pain with gas and it has helped a lot. He does still spit up though, but not nearly as much as he use to. The stuff is magic! I did notice, though, that he seems to be gaining weight more now that he is eating it. Have you ex...

I am so sorry that you are at this crossroad. You need to trust yourself to make the decision that will be the best for you and DH. Don't let people judge you or tell you what you "should" do because it is your decision. My thoughts are with you.

Mellie - We are experiencing the same thing so we are transitioning him to his crib. We let him sleep in the basinette with us until he wakes for his nightime feeding then we take him to his room and feed him and put him in his crib and then use the baby monitor to keep track of him. I think he slee...

Hi Everyone, We are doing well. I went back to work this week - full time - and in a way it was really liberating. Even though I teach all day long, it is much easier than being a stay at home mom!!! DH is staying home this month and then we start with daycare in February. I do miss seeing my baby a...

Hi Moms, I hope everyone is doing well. We had a fun but tiring Christmas. Three parties in two days proved to be WAY too much for Declan. It took him several days to catch up on his sleep and get back to his normal routine. He did, however, get lots of groovy presents from family and friends! DH an...

sugabeanzs - Thanks for all the good ideas. We ended up trying the Enfamil AR which is the one with rice starch in it and it is helping. He seems more satisfied after he eats and spits up less often (although when he does spit up it is a LOT), and while he still wakes up at night to eat he doesn't s...

HELP!!!!! I need all of you to give me some advice. My son was sleeping through the night until just before Thanksgiving and then he started waking for a midnight or 2 am feeding. The doctor said it was probably a growth spurt. the last few nights he is waking up at 1-2 am and again at 4am STARVING....

Jomae - How did the shots go with Katie. I hope she didn't have a reaction. Any update on your thyroid? Sugabeanz - Glad the girls checkup went well. I am so anxious to start Declan on rice cereal but my doctor said to wait until 4 months. I am really hoping that tit will help him to sleep through t...

Sugabeanzs - At two months Declan got shots for polio, pneumonia, T-Dap which is diptheria - whooping cough and tetnas (sp?), hep B, and an oral one for rotovirus which is a really bad gastrointestinal virus that babies can get. It seems like they go on forever! He has shots at 2, 4, 6 and 12 months...

Hi Moms, Everything went really well at Declan's two month wellness check. He is in the 53rd percentile for height and weight and 75th percentile for his head measurements. He is now 11 lbs 9 oz and 23 inches long. I thought he was too big but my doctor assured me that his is fine. She said to just ...

Mellie - Good luck with the new round of IVF. I am happy that you are going for it! I wish we could. We have 4 frozen blasts just waiting for us by my DH has decided to rethink having another baby. I don't understand him. We had agreed to more, but he is freaked out. I am hoping that he changes his ...

Hi Moms! I have been MIA for a while I guess. My DH has not been home much and it is a huge job taking care of everything all by myself. He was gone for a 9 day stretch and is coming home today from another 10 day stretch (he was in LA during the fires last week). I pretty much knew going in to this...

Hi Moms, Sorry I haven't posted recently, but I have been keeping up on all your posts. Life was pretty busy here! I was on my own for nine days while DH worked a shift and then did a week of training. Boy was that hard! But, it did convince me that I can do this. Declan and I established a bit of a...

sugabeanzs- I hope Mackenzie is ok. Please keep us posted. Today Declan is not wanting to wake up to eat either. He slept for almost three hours this morning and I finally woke him to feed him and then he was starving and had two bottles a half hour apart. Now he is sleeping again. I hope he isn't c...
