Thanks for the sitting up tip cocoa. I've got a 4D scan in a few weeks and it would be a shame if I can't lie there long enough for them to do their stuff and get some good shots. Especially at around $400. Anyone else going for a 4D?

Hi everyone, Nice to hear from you all, and I'm glad everyone is doing ok bar the normal symptoms like swollen ankles (yeah I got them a bit too!). I'm doing ok, though I went for a scan yesterday and it was horrible. I felt so nausious on the table that I almost threw up. It was quite hot and stuff...

Aww Cocoa what a touching story!!! It's just had me in tears! (the hormones don't help!!!). I love hearing happy ending stories like that. We don't really have baby showers here in the UK. We only really have "wetting the babies head" after the birth. Which tends to be the DH and his mates going out...

Hi Everyone, Just a quick update following my 20 week scan (which was actually done at 22 weeks). All was fine!!!! They spent quite a long time checking everything on each baby... 4 chambers of the heart, all the organs, limbs etc. It was reassuring to finally get all this stuff checked, and I feel ...

Even now I'm borrowing a PC so gonna have to be really brief! I'm doing fine!! No more problems since the infection a few weeks ago and a week of antibi...

Babyb, I'm sorry to hear you are angry at finding out you are having 2 boys. Could it just be the shock of it? It sounds like in your own mind you had possibly already decided you would get another daughter, which would somehow replace the daughter you lost. Of course this would never be the case. B...

Lisa I'm so sorry to hear about your little ones. It's devastating to read as it's the biggest fear I'm sure every one of us has. I really don't know what else to say, it's just made me realise how delicate a situation we're all in. I only hope you succeed if you try again. It's been ages since I po...

Hi Girls, Glad to hear everyone is doing OK! Cocoa that must have been scary. My doc told me that the nuchal is far more reliable than the triple and said that the scan basically overrules it, so they don't even do the triple if you have the nuchal (because you will get a different number). Anyhow I...

Rebecca I am burping like a good un! I mean it' REALLY bad!! I just blame it on the babies though and my DH doesn't seem to mind. And no we're not finding out the sex either, we're going to wait and have a surprise. My DH decorated the bedroom last weekend - a nice yellow so it will be ok for boys o...

Hey Girls, how is everyone doing? I've just been taking it easy and enjoying being pregnant at last. My morning sickness has got much better in past week or so. I still feel a bit rough on and off but it's not constant any more. I'm now much more aware that the babies are there, to the point that I ...

Hi Lisa. Nice to hear from you again! Wow so you feel lots of movement already? How cool!!! I can't wait to feel some wriggling...haven't felt anything yet. My doppler arrived yesterday. I thought I'd bought a lemon (it WAS only £12!) as I could barely hear my own heartbeat let alone any baby hearts...

I'm going for the 3d & 4d scans too. Probably not until at least after 20 weeks though...not sure I really want to see them looking like little aliens! Mandy where are you going for yours? I've had a quick look on the web and there seem to be loads of places around that do it. It will be amazing to ...

Hi Babyb! Great news about your last scan!! I didn't get to see mine move until the 12 week scan last week. It was so good to see them move! I know what you mean about telling work. But you're right babies come first so they will have to deal with it. My work have made me feel a bit guilty about tak...
