The way I understand an alkaline diet is that my eating foods such as lemon in hot water (citric acid) makes the body produce more alkaline to digest the acid content. An alkaline environment is meant to be friendlier for embryos to develop in....... Examples of rich alkaline producing foods are mel...

Hi girls, This is my 5th and final attempt. I went for HCG last Monday and my levels were 54.2 so I am pregnant. I am still on tenterhooks until next Wed (5th) for my u/s. My levels are higher than last time when it was a chemical pregnancy so I've got my fingers crossed. I haven't had any symptoms ...

On each of my attempts I have had 2 -3 day embryops implanted. I was debating about asking them to do blasts this time, but in the end I decided to let them do their job and I'll do mine. My acupuncturist was surprised that they were not doing blasts as she said they are usually more successful.

Yes, it only takes one!

Here in the uk, at present you can only have 2 embryos implanted (3 if you are over 40) but they are trying to change it to only 1 embryo because of the increasing rates of twin births...which obviously comes with risks.

Good luck

My last treatment went like that, my hcg levels were 38, two days later it did double, but then dropped down again, so was classed as chemical pregnancy.

Stay positive though and look after yourself

The first time, mine didn't work, I put it down to a car accident...not a bad one but upsetting the system :!: The next 2 were frozen transfers and the embryos had fragmented slightly, but I didn't ease off at work, when your self employed if you don't work you don't get paid!!! I was still lifting e...

Good to luck to everyone on here! I am also in my 2 week wait, test due 20th Aug. ....this is my 5th attempt. The last one I had a chemical pregnancy which was lost at 5 weeks. I have a big problem though...on my last treatment I ended up addicted to HPT's and did approximately 14 in the 2 week wait...
