My brother and family are off to Calgary, so I can feel a skiing holiday coming up next year! Where he is going is about a 10 hour drive from my sister who is living in the tri cities in Washington, so we would probably do a week with one then drive to the other for a week. I only see my brother abo...

Re: feeding and napping Ellie feeds at 5.30am, 7.30am, 12.30pm and then cluster feeds (little and often between 4pm - 6pm, 8.30pm and 11.30pm. She sleeps all morning between 8am - 12.30pm, in the afternoon she is quite alert with little naps, goes to sleep between 6.30pm - 8.30pm, and then is awake ...

Not sure if this info is helpful for you or not. I express one boob, while ellie feeds from the other. Then at 11.30pm after I have given her a feed, around 10 mins later my husband feeds her one of the expressed bottles. (I know when I go for a meal out and eat too much I get tired!) So perhaps tha...

Hi. I had the same thing, fluid that would squirt out if I squeezed my nipple around 4 months (which I found highly amusing!) and I wondered the same thing....but no, I did not produce more than the odd droplet, and it was around day 3 after birth before I produced real milk flow.

Are any of you using the washable nappies :?: I had bought some for Ellie, but they were huge, with Ellie being so tiny! The district council here, gives a voucher for anyone using reusable nappies, so I found some more which were just small enough for Ellie, but they only had 3 nappies in stock, so...

Well done for starting this thread, so happy to join you over here. Hope you are feeling a bit better now Cocoa! Well, obviously the 'twin' thing is what makes the difference in coping through all this change! I can't believe how easy I am finding this, which I realise must really grate on some peop...

Hi Everyone, Ellie has settled in well with us, it does feel strange that this little person can totally take over your life, everything seems to take so much longer to do, just going to the shops seems to be a major event. I had a practice run at getting ready for work, and did quite well this morn...

Just another update: I went back to the midwife yesterday, she was concerned that my BP had risen again so referred me to the OB at the hospital. So I've just returned from there! She did another membrane sweep, and said that everything is looking 'favourable' with my cervix now soft and the baby ly...

I had absolutely no morning sickness, I used to REALLY WANT to be sick just so that I could feel pregnant, I was 20 weeks before I felt pregnant, but only because I was getting a bump. Looking back now though, I am so grateful that I have had a pregnancy made in heaven and have been able to enjoy it...

Just an update from me: I went to the hospital today for a recheck, my blood pressure is back to normal again. :D She did a membrane sweep, but doesn't think it will do any good as I am not at all effaced yet, so she reckons it will be at least another few days. So it looks like my sister won...

Well, no news from me yet! I had a midwife appointment today, my blood pressure has gone up a bit and the baby hasn't grown in the last week....so I get rechecked on Sunday if the baby hasn't arrived by then. I have asked if I can have a membrane sweep on Monday morning, as my sister returns to USA ...

I've still had no signs at all, no twinges just a slightly bruised feeling around my pubic bone....please....please.....let me be next, I am just so ready to meet my littl...
