robinsonpr, what works for us is we feed, then bathe, then put down in cot. The bath really gets her sleepy. Plus she likes her cot, she looks at the butterflys above her, and we have a few things tied to the cot she can look at. She also likes her bumper which is a lot of pink, orange, and blue cir...

Hi Vlada: She will usually eat between 6:00 to 8:00 and she stays downstairs with us while we eat dinner and clean up. She will get a bath and is in her cot sometime between 9:00 and 10:00. She wakes up for a feed around 11-12 and then we get a good stretch until 5:00 or 6:00. She then goes back to ...

Mandy, thanks for the info. I think in their effort to be fair (lesbian IVF) they are unfair to others. You would think that any female who has not had a baby should be elgible regardless of the husbands status. Vlada, Stephie only sleeps 4-5 hour stretches at night also. If we can get an 11-5 or 12...

Hi Rebecca: Thyroid levels rarely change so if they were normal in January it is not something that they would check again. Now if they were off, like mine were, I have them checked every six months to adjust the medication. During my pregnancy I had them checked every 8 weeks and adjusted the meds ...

Mandy, it's the 4th of July weekend in the states. Everyone is very busy with friends and family. I love the celebration and I miss it. I am curious about how IVF works in the UK. Mine were done in the states and were not covered by insurance. I heard that in the U.K. you have a free go? then pay fo...

Hi: There are so many posts I hope I remember what I wanted to say. Haley; Stephie was very constipated and we switched from Farleys to Aptimil. That did the trick. We use the Dr. Brown bottles and like them. We started with breastflow but they leaked a lot and we got frustrated with them. It's funn...

Haley... thanks for the tips. I will try the oilatum. Woodcliff, Psorisis does not run in my family, but I had a friend in high school who had bad psorisis and it looks like that. I am sure though it is just what Haley was talking about. Speaking of wine... I was really looking forward to a dirty ma...

It's been awhile since I have posted. I love reading everyones post. Mandy your sense of humor is wonderful. It cracked me up. I am also doing a baby group but I love it. It gets me out of the house and I get to meet other moms. Stephie just sleeps through it. It is nice to see some of the older bab...

Haley... thanks for the advice on the aptimil and the boiling water. I will try that. Our Fridge is on the first floor and the nursery is on the 3rd floor. Sending hubby out for another kettle and a small fridge to keep on the 3rd floor. This up and down is killing me. I also read you can't develop ...

Stephanie is doing great. We just received our dogs yesterday from the U.S. (6 mo wait to bring them over via U.K. rules) and our pack is back together at last. (Two Maltese) Stephanie does not notice them but my female dog loves watching her. My male dogs ignores her. Up too much at night (every tw...

Well it is 6 days post partum and I still can't get Stephie to latch on. The lactation consultants are here every day. We started a bottle in the hospital so I know this is the problem. I am pumping also but not enough coming out yet. Baby b- I read your post on the weight loss. I am having the same...

Hi Everyone: We delivered our little girl by c-section Thursday morning as planned. She weighed 7 lbs 13 ounces and was breech! came out butt first. We were all surprised since the midwife said she had been engaged for 3 weeks. My husband watched the whole thing. (he loves this stuff (he is a scient...
