Hi

Thanks girls....Amnio full results come back next week. Seltzer: if you want, you can still find out the sex of the baby at your next ultrasound. I know, sometimes, people want to keep it a surprise. Somehow, I couldn't do that :) Rebecca, Marybeth, Shari: how about you? Will you find out? Dancinnan...

Hi

Hi girls, hope everyone is doing well. This is a quick note to let you know that my amnio ultrasound last week was great. I was waiting for Amnio FISH results [shorter version of the full amnio but very close in accuracy to the actual Amnio results & takes less time]. Today I got FISH results and go...

Hi

Hi, same here. We have male fertility issues. We were told from the beginning IVF-ICSI is the best choice. Even if your friend's hubby has a few sperms, it might work. One sperm is all it takes for ICSI. I am surprised she has not been offered that option yet from the specialists.

Hi

Hi kerpupples, I can tell you from my experience that I had spotting around 6.2 weeks of pregnancy. I was paranoid as I had had a m/c earlier & went for an ultrasound but they did not detect a heartbeat at that stage. It's common not to get a heartbeat until 7 weeks. I got mine around 7 weeks. We ar...

Hi

Hi Hoekey You are certainly in our thoughts & prayers. I have responded to your posts earlier. M/C is a tough thing & you surely went thru a lot. At the end of the day, we always look for a silver lining after something bad that happens. I admire your strength & your spirits. Sometimes just relaxing...

Hi

Hi, congratulations on your pregnancy! I was on progesterone vaginal suppositories... initially 3 a day for a few weeks, then reduced to 2 a day & finally one a day. I stopped that around 8 weeks of pregnancy. Other than only pre-natal vitamins, nothing else. Is there a reason your Dr. suggested so ...

Amnio FISH Results

We just did an amnio at 16 weeks [yesterday]. Everything looked great on the u/s touchwood but the real deal is the amnio result, which will be available in 2 weeks or so. I was told I have a 1 in 46 chance of having a baby with Down syndrome [thru my NT scan at 13 weeks]. The risk is high at my age...

Hi

Not sure about twin pregnancies but it's normal for many people not to have any pregnancy symptoms. I hardly have any morning sickness. Don't feel that exhausted. Surely my tummy has started showing but that's because it's 15 weeks. You can go in to your OB/GYN for doppler heartbeart just for peace ...

Hi

And, we also wanted to test for abnormalities... it was my first m/c & I was really worried why it happened. But they didn't come back with anything on the fetus. They said that usually they do not do any detailed analysis, unless God-Forbid miscarriage has happened 2-3 times. So you can try but I a...

Hi

Hi Hoekey, you did the right thing by scheduling D&C. For me the same thing happened, in the sense that I had slight spotting around 15 weeks [which turned out to be a m/c when we checked at emergency] but the m/c had happened 2-3 weeks earlier [at 12 weeks] & I just didn't know about it. So when th...
