Hi girls...just a quick update before I go back to catch up on everyone. And I do have a lot of catching up to do! But Abby did great. We were in the hospital for 9 days but got discharged last night! It was the most heartbreaking thing for us as parents to go through, but she is a little champ ...

Wow. What amazes me is that I had never heard of a colostomy before, and since Abby had her surgery, people left and right are coming out of the woodwork who have them. People I've known for years have siblings (who I've met before), parents, people they know who have them. Sadly it is much more ...

Hi All! Wow, it sounds like everyone is doing wonderfully. Kbear, welcome and congratulations! I am so excited for you. And I am jealous of all of you who are sleeping through the night. We are still battling reflux so our nights are still rough, but I think when Abby gets out of the hospital we ...

Hi Everybody! Wow...it's been a long time and I am sorry for that. It was such a hectic holiday season, and it seems like the days just fly by. Every once in a while I come an check in, and I get on photobucket regularly to see pics of all your beautiful babies. It has been so long I was not really ...

Hi everyone! I've been MIA too. Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. SO much to be thankful for this year. Gecko...I can totally relate. DH hasn't been gone for 9 days though, the biggest stretch has been 5. But then when he's home, I still have to do all the work because even if he's off one day ...

CT Michelle...2 things...I love the video...and that toy! I have never seen it before! I already emailed my Dad and told him Abby wants it for Christmas. Also...where in CT are you? I went to HS in Westport.

I have to say Sug...that is great that your insurance covered it, and that you have ...

CT_Michelle...welcome and congratulations! Glad to have you here. About the arching...does she have reflux? I know that arching is something they tend to do a lot when they have reflux. Just a thought...

Well, Abby was 6lbs 10oz at the doc this week! I can't even believe it. She is getting SO big ...

I didn't have ANY morning sickness. I did have days where I couldn't decide what sounded good to eat, but no nausea or anything. Be thankful. :D And congratulations on your pregnancy!

Sug, you poor thing. I went through something similar, although it was when Abby was still in the NICU. I didn't want to get out of bed. I didn't want to go see her. I cried uncontrollably over EVERYTHING. Finally, at one of my doc appointments, I was crying because the elevator was broken and I had ...

Loopie, congratulations! What a great story. Sounds like there weren't too many complications, except the blood pressure stuff.

Jomae - wow have you had your hands full. I hope things are better for you and the family now.

Rio - thanks for putting this new thread together. The name is perfect! :D ...

Yay for Jomae and Mellie! Congratulations girls!

Well, it's 4:22am. I gave Abby her 3am bottle and she is sitting here in her bouncy seat as wide-eyed as ever! I guess sleep is a little over-rated anyways. And I am sure I'm not the only one of us mommies who is up right now. :D

Abby has been home ...

Katie,

They can do a test called the fern test to look for an amniotic fluid leak. It's basically like a pap smear, except they can't use the lubricant, so it HURTS when they put the speculum in you (I had two of them during my stay in the hospital...ugh). But it's basically just a swab. They call ...

Yay for all the babies! Congratulations to you all! I just looked on the bucket and holy cow are those big boys! They look like toddlers compared to my little Abby. I guess my perspective is just a little off these days. Why does it seem like every single one of us has had some sort of ...
