LostGirl, I can totally see where you're coming from. But from another tubal issues infertility I can understand what was meant by the original post too. Maybe not the best choice of wording...but then we are on a post about IVF after TUBAL and not Primary Infertility so it kind of fits here. I unde...

Okay, I know dreams can be skewed by thinking about something way too much LOL But I had a dream last night that I had a little baby boy! And someone approached me and asked me about having him and I said "well I guess my tubes weren't tied as well as I thought"....hmmm, odd! On a lighter note thoug...

indieblue--hi there! We looked at the REgent, and it does go to 65 pounds, but it's quite big. So, we ended up with the roundabout. I've heard great things about both. Good luck getting preggers! Yes, they are HUGE....we have a Suburban and 2 of them take up the whole bench seat LOL Oh and I just c...

Newbie lurking here...just wanted to say that we have the Britax Regent for our toddlers and it's GREAT. Really big car seat and it goes to 85 pounds I believe...so they could sit in it till they are 8 :) Oh and carseats expire 5 years after manufacture date so make sure that any carseats that frien...

WaitingForMia: Yes...adoption was recent :) God works in mysterious ways...but that's what keeps us going is we know it was his plan to match us and we're all in it for the long haul :) Nic: I've never actually understood the point in BCP's but then again I don't understand a lot about infertility a...

Still in the same place here. I keep thinking I'm going to call my RE's office back and set up an appointment for diagnostics but I'm afraid I wouldn't have the money to begin treatment till March or April...or longer so I keep putting it off. My RE's office said that the diagnostics testing needed ...

What a great passage :) Thanks for sharing. And I'm not saying that God is punishing me...I'm saying that I brought this on myself, having a Tubal without praying for his input...etc. Now I also know that we can do things without his input and he still guides us to his path again, I've done that man...

I don't know the answer...but after reading so much on boards like this one it seems that it can range vastly. When I was 25 or so I donated eggs and they only were able to retrieve 11 eggs. They don't tell the egg donor if any were fertilized or how many were 'good'. Still, seems like a small amoun...

WaitingForMia: I just wanted to comment on your statement that you only pray for God's will. That is exactly what I feel like. That old saying 'be careful what you wish for' comes to mind when I pray for a clear leading in IVF. I do not want to go against his will and set out on my own....I can only...

Thanks for the warm welcome :) And yes...21 was early to have my tubes tied and I didn't even pray about it! That is another one of my issues....I never prayed and never took the time to seek what God would have me do....I just did it. Had 2 children in 2 years and I was just exhausted and felt like...

Anyone ever used 1-866-Lets Try to get insurance information

I saw this on another board and wondered if there was any pro's/con's to using this service. You are supposed to be able to call the number and they will send you a letter defining everything/anything that your insurance will cover. I know that mine says it covers diagnostics, and I have Caremark RX...

What a great thread :) I'm new here, really just starting to think about IVF. I had my tubes tied 12 years ago and have NEVER regretted it...we always said if we wanted more children we'd adopt. Well, this past year we were really led to adoption. We followed God's leading and we were lead through s...

I had my tubes tied 12 years ago as well. I haven't started IVF yet, but we have the paperwork and we're just waiting on the funds :) I plan on going to get my diagnostics done soon though, as I think my insurance plan covers those. I think I actually have a prescription plan that pays for the meds ...
