By the way, have you ever checked out the message boards over on twinstuff.com? It is an awesome sight for twins, trips, etc. They have a special sub forum called Bedrest under the Expecting forum that has lots of great info on bedrest, cerclages, etc. I have found it to be an excellent source of in...

Hi Girls ~ I am 23 weeks preggers with twins and also on modified bedrest due to shortening cervix and funneling. After a week on bedrest, my funneling had leveled out and my cervix had not changed, which was good news. I have heard great things about cerclages, but if your cervix continues to stay ...

Hi Girls ~ When I went through IVF I caved and POAS 9 days past 3 day transfer. It was positive and I POAS every day until my beta. I think I tested as early as can be indicated, I wouldn't advocate testing any earlier. I am preggers with twins, which is why I think my test came back so positive so ...

Hi Babyloves ~ I am 23 weeks preggers with twins from my first IVF in March. My nurse and RE said that they can't really totally rely on beta numbers to indicate twins. I, however, think that there is a correlation. You can tell from my siggy what my beta numbers were. Also, I POAS 9 days past 3 day...

Jen: LOL....the research on the internet....that's all I've been doing since we decided to try IVF. :) It has scared me a little. :) Also, my husband's shape of his little guys is only 1% normal. At least that's what the tests showed when we did the infertility testing 5 or so years ago. He has los...

Hi Jenn ~ We are very similar creatures! My DH had low count, low motility also. We went through our first IVF earlier this year. My first consult appt was in January and we cycled in Feb/March. Normally you have to have a period or 2 before you start the cycle. Congrats on having rock-star insuranc...

Hi Girls ~ I couldn't help but jump in to your thread! In my 2ww, I spotted also. I think I had implantation bleeding and I was also doing the prog suppos and they made me spot also. (I ended up switching to PIO shots b/c of the bleeding/spotting) Don't give up!!! Wait for those beta #'s! Take care ...

Hi Girls ~ Was just lurking on your thread and thought I would jump in and say good luck! I also did acupuncture and it must have done something good as it was my first IVF attempt and I am now preggers with twins! Hang in there, girls, the impatience, anxiety, and excitement can get the best of you...

Hi Snapper ~ I was on the suppos. for the first 6 weeks then switched to PIO shots. If I would have had it to do over again, I would have started out with PIO shots. The suppos. irritated my cervix to the point that I was spotting/bleeding. Needless to say, after a BFP, I freaked out with the spotti...

Cloth diapers

Hi Mommies! I am preggers with twins due in November and I am researching cloth diapers. Do you have experience with cloth diapers? Which brand/kind would you recommend? I don't want to get the kind that you have to safety pin, I would rather get elastic or velcro, if possible. Thanks for your feedb...

Hi Melo ~ Congrats on your BFP! I think traveling is ok, just follow the rules of your first few weeks (no lifting, etc). I was going to travel actually during my 2WW and my nurse said to stand up and walk around a lot to keep from getting stiff. Also, are you on PIO shots or prog suppos? That's som...

Hi Charlie ~ I had spotting for a couple of days and was also on prog suppositories. As it turned out, I switched to PIO shots instead of the suppos and my spotting went away. I was also SO freaked out! My cervix was just really irritated from the prog. Now all is well and the shots aren't so bad at...

Hey Joyanna ~

I POAS the first time at 9 days past transfer and got a very faint positive (I have twins, so lots of hcg!) I think you tested too early, if I were you I would wait another 3 days or so. Remember, it's very common to get false negatives!!!

Good luck and keep us posted!!

Hey Tammy ~ My dr also put me on 48 hrs of bedrest. I would get up to eat, shower, go to the bathroom, take care of my dogs and cats. I did go to my parents for dinner one of the nights and sat around (didn't lay). Try not to overanalyze it too much, the extra stress isn't good for your babies!! It ...

Hey MyBoyParker ~ I had all those symptoms within a few days after my e/t. For me, I also began to feel really tired and my nipples felt like they were being stabbed. I also had (and still have) the feeling that my crotch was falling out, which was just a heaviness pushing down on my vagina. It soun...
