Suzhan,
Back in Dec, I put in two 8-cell embies and one 6-cell and now am about to give birth to a singleton. I've always hoped that it was the 6-celled embie, which my dh and i nicknamed the runt, that implanted.

Keep the faith... Lostgirl

Hi ladies, Had our 36th week ultrasound to check for position and amnio fluid and growth. The baby looked great! But slept most of the time so it was impossible to get a length measurement, and only reluctantly, after much jostling did we get a head measurement. They estimate the baby weighs 6 pound...

Wow Michele, well Ella has taken the guesswork out of things for you and your DH. IN 12 days, you'll meet her. I'm doing fine. Lots of pressure down there, and lots of super low hiccups from the baby. Leg cramps are sort of under control. We are getting a bunch of furniture delivered this weekend an...

Does the baby dropping mean labor is close? In other words, a week or days away? Or is it no predictor at all... Lostgirl

Has my baby dropped? It's hard to tell...

Calling all mommies.. . when you were in your third trimester, were you able to deduce that your baby had dropped? What were some hints that the baby's head had dropped into your pelvis? I think that's what I'm feeling. Mounting pressure down there. An even-worse need to pee. And twice a day hiccups...

Hi Michele, Here's one way to tell the baby is head down. Hiccups! My kid hiccups two or three times a day (normal I'm told at this point) and the hiccups are crazy low in my pelvis so I'm assuming that means the kid is head down. That and there's some incredible pressure down there for the past few...

Michele, Hope you are feeling less anxious. I wouldn't worry too much. Or at least that's what my dh keeps telling me. It will all work out. Just make sure to know what the symptoms of preclampsia are, and things get gnarly you'll have a C-section which it sounds like you and your DH are fine with. ...

Michele, I wouldn't worry about the baby's position at this point. There's still time for the baby to move, and we even got taught positions in birthing class that help to get the baby to try a head-down position. I do hope though that you don't continue to have high blood pressure, or any of the ot...

Made it !

Thanks Melissa for the concern. I have those pesky leg cramps remember so there's no way I wasn't going to make plenty of stops. Plus, I was driving alone - so I practically had to stop every hour just to assuage the fears of my DH who kept calling to see if I was OK in nutty traffic, and my mother ...

Esperanza, OH MY GOD!!! My arms are tingling right now. When I read your news I gasped so audibly that several colleagues turned around thinking that I may have gone into labor. :) I am so thrilled for you and your dh. You are in a happy place, keep your PMA and your baby will grow, grow, grow. I ca...

It's funny how everything is relative when it comes to exercise. A couple of ladies have commented they cannot believe I'm still exercising at the level I am, and yet, I feel like considering how much exercise I used to do I should be able to do more! Anyway, walking is hard no doubt. But swimming i...

Hi, I had a good weekend. Saturday my husband convinced me to do NOTHING since I woke up feeling tired and achy, which proved to be just the thing I needed. We rested, and ate well, and chilled. So on Sunday I felt great. Went for an early morning tour of the labor ward. All of it looked good. The r...

Good idea WashingtonDa, Let's collect due dates! My due date is Sept. 19 too. I'm sorry to hear you're finding bedrest tough. I do imagine it would be psychologically challenging. It's great your doc will let you go back to work at week 35. A friend had her baby early at week 34 and he ended up bein...

Elca, Good to hear from you! I thought I'd work till the end but now I'm thinking of taking off work starting a week before my due date. Friday Sept. 12th is what I'm thinking. I plan to rest up for labor and swim a lot to bring on labor (not sure it will work, but swimming sure does make me feel go...
