Hey sistas!!

Fee- so happy you got to see noggin and everything is ok!!!
Mel- thanks for the prayers, they are helping! Have a blast with the twins!!! You must be sooo excited. No doubt their mom is too, since she will be getting help!!

Sorry it took so long. I am supposed to be resting, but I am kind of on the fence as to whether I should follow the strict bedrest rule. So I am sitting up at the computer.

Transfer was yesterday and it went great. The Dr. came in all excited and said all 6 were still thriving and some starting to compact (don't know what that is) all were 8 cell or more, one was already a morula. I think that means already almost blast. Anyway then she says -do you want to transfer 3??? DH says no and I say yes at the same time! So she explained the risk and says there is less than 5% chance of triplets. So after discussing it DH says YES!!

Ok then after that unexpected twist there was more drama...
I got in there and she couldn't see my full bladder so she pulled everything out and said drink more I'll be back in 20 min. So I drank and told the nurses all about my great dog who was white with PURPLE spots, i'm guessing the valium was talking at that point!! I did correct myself so it wasn't too embarrassing!

Dr. comes back, bladder is huge, she is happy and says let's continue. They put the embies in and I only see 2 white dots fly across the screen, but i kept my mouth shut b/c I figure they know what they are doing. The embriologist goes to check the catheter and yells "one" ...One of my embies is still stuck in the tube! She comes running in and says "ok decision time- this RARELY happens, but if I put the cath back in we could risk disturbing what we just put in. The morula is in you, not the cath. If it was that one stuck in the cath I would go back in, but I think we are getting a message to just leave it with 2 embryos in. But I'll do whatever you want" So DH husband says 2 is great, leave it. I was a little bummed, but she said they would put it back in the incubator and try to freeze it. She said the only other time this happened to her the woman ended up pregnant on an FET with the one that had gotten stuck in the cath!! So she thought it would be fine. Whew!

So I have 2 snuggling in. I go for bloods on Friday. I think preg. test would be next thursday May 31. The day before my 6th wedding anniversary!! What a present that would Be!!!

Gotta go! talk to you all later!
Jenn

Jenn! What a crazy story. I can't believe that it got stuck like that...oh well, twins will be great! Okay, so how are we going to keep you distracted for the next week? Here--I'll tell you about this crazy dream I had last night. It was one of those dreams where it's you, but it's not really you. Like, I didn't look anything like me, yet it was me. I was in this big theater and it turned out that the man sitting next to me was the anti-Christ. So I had to kill him, which I did by dragging him up on stage and crucifying him. (Um, at this point can I just point out that I am really not that religious of a person. True, I am Catholic but I haven't been to Mass in months.) Anyway, after he was dead, the world started being taken over by all of these monsters. They went around eating people left and right. We were all running around hiding, when suddenly this voice from above said, "Don't worry. I was destroying the bad people. The rest of you are safe." Then, all of us that were left had these glowing shield things on us that told what we were--like leader, worker, etc.

I'm telling you guys, it was the most vivid dream I've ever freaking had. It was nutso! I woke up and started telling my dh about it and cried because it was all still so real. HORMONES ARE MY ENEMY!!!!!!!!!

Okay, if any of you actually read all of that, you're great! Jenn--I really hope this next week goes quickly and that we're all celebrating next Thursday!

Patie--Where are you? I miss you!

HI Ladies!
Sorry I’ve been MIA. I was going to just pop in and post the other day but I wanted to go back and read what I missed first. Don’t really have much to say if I don’t know what you ladies are up to. But don’t you know as soon as I started reading someone asked me to do something at work. I think I’m going to start a petition for a 15 minute forum break. I mean people get smoke breaks. Can I get a forum break!?!?!? This is crazy. All this work and no posting is making wanna an unhappy camper. And no one wants that. LOL

Now on to personals:

Jenn—I am so excited for you. That was an excelled fart report. You get an A+ for that one! The story about your transfer was awesome. I think you did the right thing about not bothering the others. Twins would be great, if I don’t say so myself. LOL Now just take it easy and relax for the next week or so. Drink pineapple juice. Not sure if that helps but I read somewhere that it did and I drank it. LOL Also, rest and relax. Bed rest isn’t a must but just chill out. I think I sat in the bed for a day and a half. Once the next day came I was so ready to do something. But then again I think I have undiagnosed ADHD. I can’t sit still for too long.

Coco—How goes it? So are you excited to be single again? WOW…I was just reflecting back on my single days. WHEW…if walls could talk. It was nice having my own place, own car and come and go as I please. Hanging out all night. Dating different guys. Free dinners. Ahhh, the life. But nope, I don’t miss it one bit….rolling eyes now… Glad to hear you and DH can still be friends. So I’m assuming he’s going to be in the baby’s life if you get pregnant by one of your popsicles.

Mel—Love the nicknames for the twins. It’s funny you picked out the names butterbean and peanut. My niece is currently calling them peanut butter and jelly. My mom is calling them her two little sweet peas and another friend of mine is calling them Mindy and Carlos. All of the names crack me up. It will be nice when we find out the sexes, and then their nicknames may be more fitting. Glad to hear all of that stuff is over with your bum. Sorry I wasn’t around to cheer you on. Blame it on the slave drivers I work for. Also, while catching up on my reading I didn’t see anything about Grey’s Anatomy finale. I was not happy with it at all. I won’t talk about it just in case you haven’t seen it yet. But if you have let me know your thoughts.

Meg—I know I’m late but I love Root Beer floats. I haven’t had one in so long but I think I’m going to get one. We have an A&W by my house so I might just have to make a stop on the way home. Ohh, a Root beer float and a chili dog sounds good. But I don’t think I’m suppose to eat hotdogs. Maybe chili fries. It’s amazing how I don’t have any cravings until someone mentions a food or until I see it. I don’t want anything in particular until it is discussed. LOL That sucks about you not having any more scans. But I guess that’s a good thing and that means our little girl is doing just fine. I am currently being seen by my regular OBGYN every two weeks and the specialist every month. Not sure how long that will last though. Even though I see them every two weeks it’s still not enough. I guess we are never satisfied. I have another appointment with the specialist (who has the cool 3d ultra sound machine) tomorrow. I’m hoping we can find out the sexes tomorrow. If they cooperate. WOW, that dream sounds crazy. I wouldn’t have gone back to sleep after that. That’s a scary one. Have you been eating before going to bed or watching any crazy movies?

Fee—Don’t feel bad, both of our little ones had their backs to us at the last ultrasound. Not one but both. Not much to see but I got a good glimpse of their spines and their heads. LOL I’m hoping they turn around for us tomorrow. I’m assuming they are having some movement in my tummy. Not that I can feel them but because I am still having morning (all day) sickness off and on. It’s the worse. But the doctor told me that I feel sick because they are moving. Not sure if that’s the case but hey..I’ll go with it. LOL It makes me feel pregnant but it sucks because I can’t eat anything or can’t keep anything down. It probably happens at least 3 times a week. As opposed to every day earlier in the pregnancy. Wow, that is so cool that the docs are 80% that Noggin is a boy. Have you thought of any names yet? Do you have a preference of boy or girl? I would have to agree with the others. Suck it up and put on some maternity clothes. They are to die for. They are so comfy. I love them. But they can be a little pricey. I will post a link to where I found some inexpensive maternity clothes.

Sassy—I’m a lot like you. I would have gone to work also. I’m the responsible on in the office. But you best to believe everyone would have heard my mouth. LOL I would have complained or given someone the guilt treatment. They probably would have sent me home after a while. LOL Glad to see you recovered your trash bin. The nerve of some people. They will take or misplace anything. Maybe the trash guys got bored and were having some fun. Nice to have you back. I know I have nerve. I’ve been away from the sisterhood and haven’t even been on vacation.

Robo—Now this b@tch that you call a friend is really pissing me off. I think you need to tell her where to go. Or better yet, give me her number so I can tell her where to go on your behalf. She has a lot of f@@cking nerve. Wanting two baby showers. Some people just can’t be happy with what others do for them. They have to be in control and want to delegate. Hell, all she needs is cake and punch. As a matter of fact I would make her a homemade Dunkin Hines cake straight from the box and a pitcher of kool-aid. There’s her damn cake and punch right there. She has a lot of nerve. Damn witch. Oh and how ironic that she was about to get a divorce and is now pregnant. So did the pregnancy cure the problems in the marriage. Was the makeup sex that good that she got pregnant. Gimme a freaking break. I am sitting here making her crown for punter of the month and YEAR! What a dork!

Nickster—How are you? How’s the shaved dog? We will have to find you something to do with your extra time now that you don’t have to sweep up dog hair. I can totally relate on the disappearing posts. So now what I do is type my post in another window like my email or a word document and then I copy and paste. If it disappears I still have it in my other window. I don’t delete it until I can see that it successfully posts.

Angie—You’re anniversary trip sounded so romantic and wonderful. I’m so jealous. I really really really want to go somewhere. I have the fever really bad. Sorry to hear you are not ovulating. What is the next step?

Ok, nothing new with me. I’m very much showing now. I wear larges (was a small/medium) before I got pregnant. My belly button is way out there. It’s so funny to see if poking thru my shirt. Sometimes I look pregnant and sometimes I don’t. It depends on what I wear. The maintenance man at my job asked me if I was expecting the other day. I was going to say no just to see the look on his face but I didn’t have the heart. LOL He’s such a nice guy.

I’m constantly worrying about my little ones. Some days I’m so happy that I look pregnant and then the next day I think, I’m not growing enough. It’s never ending. I am anxiously waiting the day that I feel them move or kick.

DH and I were going away for the holiday weekend. We were going to drive to Atlanta to see family and friends. DH made me call OBGYN to see if it was okay to take that 10 hour drive. OBGYN said it was fine but I would have to get out and walk every hour or so. DH was not happy about that. He said we would never get there so that trip is cancelled. So then the next day I was offered a chance to go to Hawaii. A friend of the family is going on business and all I would have to do is pay for my ticket. So of course I jumped at the chance. Asked OBGYN if it was okay to take the very long flight. He said yes as long as I get up and walk around and I’m careful. SO I commenced the search for a ticket. Mind you this is a last minute trip and less than 7 days booking. I can’t find a reasonable ticket anywhere. But I’m thinking…who cares? When am I going to get the chance to go to Hawaii again? But then I start talking to DH and he really doesn’t want me to go. He’s so worried about me and the twins. He doesn’t think it’s a good idea. He doesn’t want me to fly or take a long car ride anywhere. This of course is driving me nuts because I love to travel. We travel at least twice a year. Last year it was three times. Other family members are concerned also. The twins come first, which I understand. So I told him I wouldn’t go but we are going somewhere together for a long weekend in the next couple of months. I can’t take this. I have vacation fever like crazy. I know the twins come first and I don’t want to be selfish but if the doctors say it’s okay, then…why not? Also, DH was outside talking to our neighbor the other day and the neighbor told DH that last year his wife was 6 months pregnant and they took a car trip to FL. Now from where we live that’s probably a 16 hour drive. But neighbor said they broke it up in 8 hours. They even stopped and stayed overnight somewhere. Well long story short neighbor’s wife lost the baby. The question is did the trip cause the miscarriage or was something else wrong. But anyway, now of course DH is freaked out. Ho doesn’t want me to go anywhere. I hate when people tell you stories like that. Especially to someone that is currently expecting. You notice how you only hear the sad stories. What about the good ones where someone was 7 months pregnant and she took a 10 hour flight and she and the baby were just fine. ARGH!! I hate when people bare bad news and try to scare the crap out of you. I guess they call themselves trying to help but if you can’t say anything good then shut the hell up and mind your business.

Then another neighbor tells us that her twins WOULD HAVE been 32 this year. Okay, that’s all she said. We didn’t ask and she didn’t elaborate but my thought is, why the hell did you mention it to us if you weren’t going to into further detail? But then again do we want more details? Probably not, but you can’t help but to wonder what happened to her twins. ARGH…why don’t people just shut up.

Ok, that’s my rant for the day.

Hey sistas!

Hey Wanna- glad to hear from you!! Your showing? Great! I would be very bummed about not going to Hawaii! You are taking it well! That is one place I would love to go. I have a friend who was about 3 months preg. last summer when she went to Mexico and then a month later went to Jamaica! The trips were booked before she got preggo, so they went. No one even blinked! I think since we go through all this to get preg. everyone worries about us when we finally do! It's good that people are concerned, but get out of my way if someone offers me a trip to Hawaii!! Although I know I would have to be at least 12 weeks before I felt comfortable with it!

I am so BORED!!! Nothing is on TV. Well, the president is on now so really NOTHING IS ON!!

I think I test either next Thursday or Friday. Is it 2 weeks from ER date? I forget?

Oh- forgot to mention- I find out tomorrow if any made it to day 5 for the freezing!! I go for bloodwork tomorrow and they will tell me!! I REALLY hope some made it!

Oh- and the out-laws are coming to visit this weekend. Bummer! Dh has Friday and Monday off work and I was looking forward to hanging out and doing some work around the house and taking it easy and THEY decide to visit. I like them and all but DH refuses to tell them about IVF so we have to hide all the shots and stuff. I hate hiding stuff from them! Especially when they pretty much invited themselves. We didn't really have a choice. Oh- then they called last night to say they would be coming TONIGHT instead of tommorw! YIKES! Try cleaning a house when you are SUPPOSED to be on bedrest!

Hi Jenn---YIPPEE!!! Finally someone to play with. :-) My boss is actually out of town right now so while the cat's away the mouse has time to play. :-)

I had to laugh out loud about you calling your in-laws the out-laws. I think I'm going to use that one. LOL I feel the same way about mine. I mean I love them to death but they just invite themselves over. They don’t even call before they come. They live about 25 minutes away. I have told them numerous times that they should call, it's just common courtesy. I think one day I'm going to open the door butt naked and then tell them we were busy and they should have called first. LOL

I’m hoping to have my DH all to myself this weekend but I have a feeling we might also get a visit from the outlaws. :-(

Well I'm not even giving Hawaii another thought. I'll go someday. I am just focusing on having two healthy babies right now. :-)

Yeah, I showing. Some days more than others. I had to just run to the store at lunch and purchase some maternity pants. I had on some regular pants earlier today and they were way too tight. They were cutting off my circulation. Even with the zipper all the way down. LOL Guess I need to just suck it up and purchase a bunch. They are nice and comfy though.

When was your transfer again? I think I stayed in bed the entire day after he transfer and then the next day I was in and out of bed. Always in when DH called of course. But I think you'll be okay. Just don’t do too much. Also, NO SEX! Not sure what your clinic told you but I wouldn't do it. It's up to you. But the first time we did and BFN. AF came the very next day. Not sure if sex had anything to do with it but you can't help but wonder. The 2nd cycle we didn't do anything until I was 12 weeks. LOL But it was worth it.

I wish you the best of luck. I’m saying prayers for you. Don’t let the OUT LAWS stress you out. Enjoy your weekend and your little buns in the oven. :-)

Wanna- So you had to do bedrest too? I'm supposed to be on bedrest till tomorrow morning. There is quite the debate going on over it. On the May/ June thread I post on there are some who feel strongly that we shouldn't. I am listening to the Dr. as best I can. And of course I too am ALWAYS in bed when DH calls to check on me!! I did get up to bake bread today, and make lunch, and straighten up a bit. don't tell on me though!

Enjoy your new pants!! That was funny that you had to go out on your lunch break!

I'm torn on the whole bedrest issue, too. I did 24 hours of bedrest after my transfer. Obviously it didn't help as I got a bfn. But did it hurt? Therein is the question. I highly doubt relaxing is in any way going to hurt the implantation process...but what do I know. Plus, when I did get pregnant it was over Christmas and there was no way I was laying around. Who knows. It's a tough one!

Jenn...are you the type to break down and take a hpt? I toughed it out...just couldn't make myself look at one of those things one more time!

Wanna--Great to hear from you. I bet you are showing--16 weeks with twins! I must be huge compared to you and Fee---I gained so much weight the first trimester that I was basically in maternity pants at 12 weeks. Just damned lazy, that's what I am!

So, it really seems to me like there are so many women out there fighting infertility....I come across someone new everyday. Yesterday, my neighbor told me that her and her dh are going to try ivf sometime this year and today one of our patients here at work told me she was just diagnosed with messed up hormones (yes, this is the proper term!) and is going to try clomid. My question is, do you think that infertility is becoming a bigger problem? I know that people are waiting longer to start a family so maybe that is a factor? Or do you think there is an environmental reason? I don't know, just was thinking about it!

Hey girls. I have tried several times to get on and post, but my students are demanding my attention. Imagine that. Only one day left of work:) I love my kids, and will miss them, but I am ready for summer.

Wannababy- You made me laugh talking about my shi$$y neighbor. She just gets worse and worse. Can't wait to hear what she wants me to buy her for the shower.
So, if I just bake a cake, do you think I could make it a little nutritious and skip the frosting? And maybe instead of Kool-aid, I could just do water with food coloring.
I can't believe you are turning down a trip to hawaii. I know, you are wonderful for putting your twins first. I drove twice to Colorado when I was pregnant...11 hours...and my dd is just fine. Mom was concerned as I did have a difficult pregnancy. Everything worked out just fine though.

Jenn- At least you like your "out-laws". Mine don't visit often, but when they come they never say when they are going to leave. Shortly after dh and I got married they came and stayed with us for 2 weeks. They are the type of people that expect us to cater to their every need. They also don't like me much, so they tell me how horrible I am for their son.
Took my dd to see them in March, and their dog bit my dd. Their response was she should have been more careful around the dog. She is 2 and all she did was walk past it. URG
Make sure to take it easy. Don't want anything happening to those little embies growing:)

Well, I have been on Lupron for 2 days now. I go to see the doctor in a week to make sure everything is going well. Everything just seems to move so slowly.

Have a wonderful afternoon ladies!!!

Oh, hey, any thoughts on Bachelor?

Robbo- On the Bachelor~~ I was totally shocked that he picked Tessa, but pleased b/c for some reason the other girl I just didn't like. I can't believe your out-laws stayed for 2 weeks!! Hope everything goes well with your lupron check up! Yeah!!! School is almost out!!! I know how you feel. I have to go sign my paperwork for my new job next Tuesday! I wonder when I'll start getting paid. Since school doesn't start until Aug. 27 I am worried I won't get a check til Sept.!!

Meg- I agree- more people are having IF issues. Either that or more people are talking about it. I can't figure out which one it is! I am finding more people who are going through it and when I talk about it I occasionally here a person older than me say that they had treatments long ago and it has come a long way since.

I am achy today in my lower regions if you know what i mean. Is it too early to say it didn't work? I don't know I'm just having a bum day I guess.

Vicky- when do you come back? Hope you are having a blast!!

Hello to everyone else!
Jenn

Hey girls...

Jenn: as for the bedrest issue... it is a constant controversy around here. All i know is that my RE has great success rates and he wants me down for at least 24 hrs. I know there are people who tell horror stories and basically say you will get a bfn if you stay down... but that is b/c their RE doesn't do bedrest. In the end... my take is that i doubt it will be the difference between me ever getting preg on IVF or not. So i go with my RE's suggestions. I just stay out of the "to bedrest or not to bedrest" thing (just as I stay away from the pineapple discussions...)

Wanna: glad to see you back! Yeah, I imagine you are starting to look very preg! Bummer about hawaii. I have no input on whether or not to go... but i am sorry you won't be lying on the beach. Just tell dh he owes you one once you are able to travel with the baby!

So we went to the urologist today to get dh checked out-- just to be sure there wasn't something that could be causing a male factor that is reversible i.e., varicocele. He got two thumbs up. Yeah (or is that bad.. if he did have a varicocele, it could be reversed, and maybe our chances would be higher... ). Anyway... he gave us the names of two male infertility urologists in the LA area that we could consult with if we are interested in the more obscure testing. Not sure yet, we actually haven't had a chance to discuss it yet.

Off to my counselor. I decided to go back so that i have extra support for the next 6 months. Long story, but my 2 closest friends are just too busy, i can't seem to talk with them for longer than 15 minutes at a time without interruptions. So i decided (as part of the Sassy Doctrine  ), that it would be better for my stress level. to have someone to bounce things off of, someone to help me work through all of this. So back I go.

Hope you are all well.

Hey Everyone!

I am in West Palm Beach, my nieces are amazing! They are getting so big, I hate that I am so far away! They turn 9 months a couple of days ago, and I havent' seen them since they were 8 weeks... it sucks! Peyton is crawling all over, Sydney is the thinker, she seems to be over thinking everything! I'll take a ton of pictures!

Soooooooooooooooooooo much going on - and it looks like my calls out to Patie and Amy haven't worked, I hope they are okay!

Jenn- I hope you are doing a fair amount of relaxing! I didn't watch the Bachelor... kind of glad I didn't, I did watch the "After the Rose" thing, and he seems really happy.... so that's good. My husband and I have the IF talk all of the time! Since more and more people are having IF issues, we feel (ya know, being the professionals that we are) that it has something to do with the preservatives that we injest - or the water, or something that we are eating, all of the unnatural things... that's my 10 pennies. Don't be bum! Think positive - remember The Secret!!!!

Wanna- I'd love to see pictures of you!!! All pregnated!! I am sorry about Hawaii, I am sure everything would be fine, but you know if Goodness forbid it wasn't - you'd never forgive yourself! So I totally understand the reasoning behind not, but it still stinks!

Sassy- I am sorry he got 2 thumbs up! I mean I'm not,but I am, you know what I mean... I hope the RE Urologist might be able to offer soemthing you haven't heard before - maybe? I am glad you stinking with the conselor! I think it's a brilliant idea - I mean, a professional will always be able to offer advice that friends cannot... ya know what I mean, jellybean!

Vicky! Are you doing tons of shopping for me??? The weather in South Florida is really crappy! So you aren't missing anything here, the wind is awful!!!

Robbo- Please, please, please tell me that you are totally exaggerating about your neighbor, please! I think you need to tell her that you cherish her friendship, but with everything going on in your life this just isnt' the time for you to do this for her. I'll even write the email for you! OMG!!! I hope the Lupron continues to be good to you!

Meg- I commented above on the whole IF thing... and I totally aggree with you! I think it's totally envirornmental! Absolutely!

Sorry if I missed anyone... typing on this computer is just strange...

Alrighty... I'd better wash up and start reading my book... I hope you have a nice long holiday weekend!

Much love and kisses!

Mel

Helllooo

Well I've been a tad slack lately and there is so much to catch up on.

Mego, totally understand the hormones, love your apocalyptic dream, sounds very sci-fi. I had a dream that I was a rock star the other night, loved it, woke up feeling very empowered and confident. I agree that there do seem to be more people with fert problems. I think it's a combo of waiting longer plus environmental...I know my PCOS only really kicked in a couple of years ago so if I had started TTC in my 20's I may not have had a problem...

Sass, poor DH sounds like he is on quite an interesting combo of "substances" good that he dropped the artificail sweetners, it's so easy to overload on them , a few diet cokes a day, some chewing gum....good that you are going to see a counsellor to assist with the "interesting" times ahead...As for yor garbage debacle, along with the "Wheelie Bin" as suggested by Angie as your new Aussieism, I suggest that you refer to your garbage hauler as a "garbo" - thats a really good Aussieism and so much easier than saying garbage hauler.

Jenn sounds like your ET was quite the ordeal, but it all turned out OK. I never heard of the term morula before. Sounds very star trek. I never did bed rest after ET, just avoided heavy housework and weights for a couple of weeks in the 2ww (no problem with that one!) Looking forward to test day....and to hearing if you have any five day frosties, fingers crossed..

Wanna what is it with the freaking doom and gloom people??? I reminded myself why I have not told colleagues about being preg the other day. I decided yesterday to tell one girl because I knew she would be upset if she was not one of the first to know (and frankly I can't deal with that crap). So I tell her and the next thing she is in my office for over an hour giving me a blow by blow account of her labour and pregnancy. She's 21 and for some reason that really pissed me off. I'll keep my mouth shut from now on...As far as the travel thing goes well I already cancelled one trip on advice from RE and I have nothing planned for about the next five years. I also love travelling but I think that the next trip that me and DH will do will be a big six month trip where we will drive around the US and Europe in some sort of big vehicle (make that 12 months) can't wait...but will have to..thanks for the links by the way, I will use them to get some inspiration.

Robbo you lucky thing, summer holidays...I'm jealous, it's just coming up for winter here which sucks, cold but with nothing nice like snow or anything. OOO I wish I had the current season of the Bacelor, the most recent season I have seen was when that chick Mary won (can't remember the blokes name though) I bet we are seasons behind.

Mel sounds like you are having a fabbo time with your neices. We don't have any small kids in our family which is a real shame...keep haivng a great time!

Angie I did tell Noggin off on your behalf about facing away and as you will see below he has obeyed you.

Noggin update. Yesterday affternoon (or yesterday arvo - if you want another Aussism) i felt a wierd pressure in my cervix area. I ignored it but it was here again today so I contacted my midwife. She said that she would speak with my OB GYN and call me back. While waiting for the call back I google my symptoms and diagnose myself with Cervical Incompetence. I then get a call back and get told to get to my OB GYN's office in the next 5 to 10 minutes. I get into a cab and scream over. He gave me a quick scan and pronounced everyting OK. He said my symptoms could have indicated an early labour. Noggin was jumping about which was nice because he has always been so sluggish at other scans. I was very relieved and have vowed to stop googling my symptoms...lets see how long that lasts...

Well I'm relieved that the weekend is finally here, have had a horrible flu for about a week and am knackered!

Hope you all have a great weekend, Fee

Hellooo Ladies - Friday night and what a wild night of fun I am having. Have just made tomato soup - there is a lake of it - I am going to be eating it for days and will probably turn bright red!

Fee - well done on keeping up the side on educating our American friends why use 4 sylllables when you can use 2. And The Bachelor - that is one show I love. My favourites were Trista and Ryan - I do quite like a fireman and he was so very sporty. What happened to them? Are they still together or did he divorce her after the pink candy floss wedding??

Wanna I hope you get a little "mini break" somewhere - just not where you have to travel for 10 hours. I'm a big one for keeping the circulation going - bit like Fee and imagine I have DVT in my legs even if we drive for 1 hour down the coast!

All the sistas are going to exotic locations - FLorida, Argentina - I am very jealous - the furthest we'll be going is to the northern suburbs to visit tile shops!

Well I have taken my AF inducer drug for 5 days now so she shd be here in a day or so. Feel like a complete failure all round - get even get AF on my own now. :( Oh well - then it will be a scan and then FET here we come.

Hope you all have nice w/e's. Sassy - good for you re the counsellor - I'll see mine again next week - why not? She 's free and is quite nice - may as well get it off my chest.

Mel and Vicky - have great holidays. Jenn good luck on 2ww. Hi robbo - sorry if I have forgotten anyone.
