Charlie

Yes i have been watching big brother and my only comment is there is definaely two camps!!!!! It very adictive i watched them go in on wednesday and said to James this is going to be bad i am not going to atch it this year but i watched it on thur and fri as well!!!!!!!

IVIG is an iv plasma ( blood) product that coats my natural killer cells to stop my immune system working to good. it is a very contraversal drug and the whole immune issue is very contraverasl but i have endo which is immune related and they seem to think that is why i am not getting pregnant as my body rejects any foreign material that comes into my system ie DH DNA.

Hope your DR is going ok an dyou are not too hormonal. It will not be oo much longer and you will be on stims. best of luck

Susan x

Hi Ladies

I've been out of the loop for a week since I've been with my family to help my Dad get some things in order as he had his final Chemo treatment Friday and now he has to let the cancer run it's course since it is too advanced. He's not feeling too well with fluid in his lungs so it makes it a bit hard to breathe. He feels he won't last for much longer despite his wishes. I'll be spending more time with him and my mom as time goes by. I had my 8 wk scan last Weds and our little beanie is almost an inch long and the HB was 169. We are thrilled. I've been released to my OB who I see on Jan 13 when I'm 10 weeks. I wish all of you the very best and will try to do personals when I have a chance. Take Care!

Oh dear Susan, I cannot say how heartbreaking your news is. I kept thinking about you and your family's illness and thought it so right that you had a baby to look forward to. Life is not fair. I don't for asecond believe someone is trying ot tell you soemthing like, "you're not supposed to be a mother." If only the universe were so organized, it would be a much better place. When I lost my little girl, the paster said quite simpley, "there is evil in the world" God doesn't control us and he certainly doesn't take away special little lives like the one you had growing in you. You have every reason and more to be a mother. I'm sending you tons of love and hugs. This is just not right and I've had that terrible pain of loss as well. I'm so sorry. I'm saying a special prayer for your pop-cycle embies and another huge hug. There is a wonderful baby in your future and that baby will be blessed to have you.

Susan - there are no words to express how sorry I am. Please know that I am thinking about you and DH. Life is so cruel sometimes, please do not think that someone is trying to tell you something, you are an incredibly brave, and strong woman and I will keep everything crossed for your totsicles.

Daly - how are things with you? How is Winnie? Where are you in your cycle now? I am still down regging, but it is going ok. I can cry at a drop of a hat and have a few hot flushes. but other than that
I have been away from the boards for a little while - been trying not to obsess with IVF, until we actually really start! I'm trying to get into better shape and lose some weight that I gained in the last IVF's! Its a slow process!

I am beginning to think if this cycle does not work for us, then we were meant to find our baby, we have given it a lot of thought and being parents does not have to start with pregnancy. Don't get me wrong - it is what I yearn for everyday, but looking forward to a future with no children is a lonely thought.

Big Hugs to you

Hi Charlie!

I've missed you. I'm so glad to hear the lupron isn't too bad. I feel adoption is definately in my future as well. With or without a biological child. I also like looking at my future with the certainty of having a child in it. Winnie is doing wonderfully well. We are working on poddy training and poor Tiny (his grumpy older brother) is not sure whether to call the exterminator or look for a new house!

I actually just had transfer yesterday. We transferred alot of embies (that's a hint as to the quality of them) and I am trying to be hopeful. It has been a hard year and my head is just not plugged into IVF. I don't even feel the happy thrill I always did after embie transfer yesterday. Dh is a bit moody about doing things around the house and then gets upset if I try to do anything becaue of this ridiculous bed rest. I feel the added stress has ruined any chances of success already. (not like me at all usually). I think I'll rent some funny movies today and try to get in a better mood.

Susan, my heart is still so sad for you loss. Huge hugs.

I hope all the other April buddies are doing well out there.

much love to all of you.

Daly - wow, I didn't realise you already had transfer. I will keep everything crossed for you, I can't tell you how much I wish for your dream to come true.
I'm glad Winnie is settling in well.
Please stay in touch - I will be eagerly checking for news of your BFP.

Hi to any other April buddies that may still be lurking, I think of you all often (and I secretly stalk some of you on other threads! ).

Hi Ladies,

It so nice to hear from all of you!

Susan - I'm so very sorry about your news! Best wishes for much success in your next attempt. Many prayers are with you and DH.

Just a quick note - My dear father died last night 6/17 and we are very sad. His service will be on Friday 6/22. I've been spending a lot of time with him and my mom and had just gotten home yesterday when we got the call. I'm a bit relieved that he is no longer in pain. It was pretty hard on him at the end. We will miss him very much.

Oh and I do have my first trimester ultrasound on Thurs. Hopefully the baby looks wonderful and we hope to find out the sex.

Take Care ladies. Wishing you all much success!

Love,
Christine

Christine, I am so very sorry about your dad, I have been reading your posts at the other thread and kind of knew what was going on (not that I am a stalker, just wanted to know how you were doing  ). It is very nice that you were able to spend time with him at his last moments, it must have meant a lot to him, and must have helped to leave in peace.......On the other hand, sending you lots of luck for your first trimester scan, hope the little one is not shy and shows us wether its a he or a she  .

Wish you the best!!!!!

Hi ladies,

Christine - I'm so sorry about your father (hugs) and was glad to hear you were able to be with him so much. Sounds like he was wonderful. Sending you wonderful babydust for your scan. Any guess about the sex?

Vicki - Aren't you pupo now??? WE are just a few days apart. Sending sticky dust to us both. When's your test day?

Charlie - How is the Lupron treatig you? I was just a "tad" moody shall we say! At least that's dh report. I'm just sitting through 2ww which is already halfway over! Not sure where the time goes?? Dh stops me from doing everything and I keep reminding him I'm no longer on bed rest. It's very sweet though.

Susan - I hope you are doing OK with the heartache from the loss of your little one. I think of him/her often. hugs.

Babydust girls! Let's get a good bunch of BFPs for our little April group. We've all been put through the ringer lately and it's time for some good news to come our way!

Big hi to all the other ladies of April that may be lurking about :D
