Tips to bring on AF? Want to start 9th attempt but on day 60

Hi everyone

haven't posted for ages. We are waiting to have another attempt with our 2 frosties and I'm waiting for my period to arrive so we can get going but I'm on day 60!! any tips for bringing on a period (normally the last thing we want, I know).

So far I've tried Agnus Casta (Chasteberry), hot baths, energetic sex, wearing best knickers every day and not keeping track of which day of my cycle I'm on (until now). Any other ideas? Shall i call the clinic - Liverpool Women's Hospital - and get some medication to bring it on or just be patient?

any ideas much appreciated.

I think you have been patient enough! Phone your clinic and get some drugs to bring the witch on!!! Failing that white trousers or a white outfit may work!

Sorry AF isnt showing for you, mine last mth was 4 weeks late too, i did hope for a miricle but to no avail. I take it u have been down that road already - i dont know how to bring it on for u im sorry, but lol @ wearing good knickers, that made me laff lol.

If i was you, then i would call the clinic just to let them know whats going on and maybe they can suggest summit for you.

I feel your frustration Natalie Ann, Yesterday was day 53 for me and started taking Primulut to bring it on (prescibed by dr) - otherwise I could be waiting forever and need to get the next show on the road. But of course make sure you check first in case a miracle has happened!

Hi everyone

many thanks for your replies and suggestions. I did an HPT last week in case a supersperm had managed to leap the divide between the cut tubes in my dh but of course it was -ive.

I called my clinic this morning and they said that they won't let me take anything to bring on my period as we are still hoping to detect ovulation next time and have a natural FET and they want me to be using the ovulation tests when i've had a natural bleed.

They did say that if I don't detect ovulation by day 23 of my next cycle (just need day 1 first!) that I can go straight onto the drugs on that day and have a medicated FET like the other ones were.

We had actually booked a sexy weekend away already which is next weekend, for my birthday, so maybe that'll bring it on as it usually turns up to ruin such things!
