Hi, I'm Sarah and new to this board - I'm 26 and recently have been diagnosed with premature menopause. I'm a Christian and trusting God that He will give us a baby and particularly show us which way to go about it! The doctors have said I'll never be able to use my own eggs, my FSH level is 129. I have been told to use donor eggs and my sister has offered me hers - she's 21 but has never had children. My husband and I have started looking into donor IVF clinics but nothing definite yet. Any ideas? It's encouraging to see so many of you are also Christians! May God bless you all. XOX Sarah

Hi Ladies -

Just happened to peek in and saw Nikki's post - you are definitely in my prayers, sweetie. May God grant you peace as you go forward with these dr's visits and I pray that He will bless your little boy with good health; he is going to be just fine. You remember to keep your stress level down as much as you can, Mommy! :) Your health is in my prayers as well.

Hi Cheryl - How did your appointment go?? Sorry I didn't have a chance to offer any suggestions on questions before your appt. I'm sure you asked all the right ones! We tend to think of everything and they will also tell you a lot you didn't even think of! So what is your plan of action?? My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Sriche - Welcome to our board too! We haven't been as active as we used to be, but I'm glad you are here. There are so many people with lots of good advice, but mostly a good listening ear... ttc isn't something we can talk about with just anyone! :) I will be praying that God directs you and DH in the direction in which He wants you to go. I'm sure it's a difficult decision and He will guide you to the right one.

Hi Sonu! Glad to hear your U/S went well! :) How r u feeling?!! I hope you are well. Sending you much love and prayers!!

Prayers and hugs out to all the rest of you too... I pray each and every day for all of you TTC and for the pregnancies of those who have been blessed with that desire of their hearts. Along with you, I pray for my two sisters who do not have children (45 and 49) and know how much they long to have a child. It breaks my heart and I truly wish that I could understand why so many struggle or do not receive the child that they so desire. One day, I hope God will help me to understand this.

In the meantime, I pray for peace in my heart.... I feel as if I have something similar to "survivor's guilt" - is the only way I can describe it. Why me? Why was I able to conceive and now carry, yet my sisters (biological, in TTC, and In Christ) are still waiting, hoping, and praying??? I find myself holding back anything that has to do with my pregnancy when talking to my sisters... I know they are happy for me and they truly want to be included in the joys, but I feel as if I'm rubbing it in their faces, so to speak and it saddens me so much that I just sit and cry, praying that God will use His mysterious and wonderful ways to create miracles in their lives - and each of yours as well.

God, please bless my dear sisters with a child they can love, protect and raise to glorify and honor You...... though as hard as it is, not my will - but Yours...

Praying for peace for you all ................

Hi Ladies! Great thread!

DH and have been TTC for 3 1/2 years and are just now trying IVF for the first time (had two 5 day blasts transferred on Sunday, beta next Thursday). We have two gorgeous children, both adopted, that keep us pretty busy. Looking at their sweet faces has truly reminded me of God's faithfullness in all of this. While we are REALLY hoping this IVF works, I know God has a plan.

As I was praying for my "twins" yesterday (hey, for now they are twins!) I came across the last several chapters in Job. It's basically God berating Job and asking him if he can do any of the things God can do. It gave me such encouragement because I realized even more that children are given to us at God's discretion. Sometimes that's so hard to take (WHY is my party-girl friend able to get pregnant but not me?), but He has His reasons.

It was mainly encouraging because it shows that God can do ANYTHING! It doesn't matter how old we are or what the fertility factor is. God can still work through it.

For us, infertility has turned into a blessing because of the kids God has chosen for us. I pray that He also has a pregnancy in mind for me, but He has been faithful.

In the meantime, good luck and prayers for everyone!

It's been a very long time since I've checked in... but wanted to say hello - and congratulations to all that have been blessed to have BFPs and now have babies as well as let those of you who are still wishing and praying that God will give you the desires of your heart know that I'm still praying for you.

Babyluv - I couldn't have said it better... God is faithful to us, even when we don't understand his actions. His plan is perfect and so is His timing... which is hard, I know for girls like me (I am a do it NOW kind of girl)... but IVF and motherhood both have taught me much patience and I know God's not finished teaching me all I have to learn about timing and patience. Thankfully, He has guided me thus far and I am believing in Him to continue to do so, as He has promised to do.

Love and thinking of all who are waiting on their dreams to become reality... praying God grants you patience and PEACE and encouragement during this season and all the other seasons in life to follow..........

Thank you so much for this board! It's such an encouragement. My husband and I are just starting to consider IVF and this is really great. We are praying so much. I'd love to just wake up tomorrow and the dr say, you don't need this, you're already pregnant.

The three of them refused to bow down and worship an image King Nebuchadnezzar declared as law, so the king threatened to throw them into the fiery furnace. Shadrach, meshack, and Abendego's response was our God is able to save us from the fiery furnace, BUT EVEN IF HE DOESN"T, WE WILL STILL PRAISE HIM. The three survived the firey furnace.

Just thinking of all the old friends out there and those of you currently struggling with your own path and what it brings, and what it might bring. God knows your hopes, dreams, wishes, fears, and no matter what, He will bring you through if you rely on Him to do it. Don't lose faith - no matter what.
