Hi, I've just turned 40, have a beautiful son aged 12 from my first marriage, would love a child with my husband now, we've been married 5 years & have had 7 IVF cycles...no success. Last one was 2 years ago, decided to give up & count our blessings BUT we have just inherited some money unexpectedly & I can't stop thinking: should we have one last try? Has anyone had a happy ending when they started a cycle at over 40? Thanks!
I just wanted to say,go for it and lots of luck....
We had 4 cycles before we got pg with our son,he's now 6 months old(im 36)...By my experience,if you dont try now you've got the money, you'll always wonder what if? You inherited the money unexpectedly..well im a firm believer in fate,so maybe this is fates way of telling you,go try this last time..
Whatever you decide,i wish you the best of luck..Nicola..xx

Hello, sure you should try once again!I have a lot of cases when women over 40 become pregnant.Amd I also can advise you a center which specializes in treating patients over 40. Sure, there lots who are under 40, but their's pregnancy rate is the highest in Europe. If you are intrested in it, leave me a message here or contact me via e-mail: irina.afanasyeva@gmail.com.

I am a firm believer in kismet-and this unexpected windfall sounds like the universe wants you to give it a go!!
As for me, I didn't even know that we'd need IVF, and then I got into grad school, took their insurance- which unexpectedly covered IVF, and it turned out we had a major infertility issue - and voila- at 39 1st IVF and a BFP!!!!!!!!!!
