Ok I am getting really frustrated with this board.. I know I am challenged with computers but I have it set to send me alerts of responses but its not coming through... Ok enough complaining...

EM Oh my gosh CONGRATULATIONS.. You must be so excited.. This is wonderful news. Try your best to rest up (although with the twins that must be hard) take care of yourself and try to steel a couple mins a day to put your feet up and take care of that new little one.. Congratulations again...

Jeck,
That is so sweet about Jaden and feeding the cherios to his puppies.. I am so amazed at the twists and turns that life gives us. You went through so very much and when they finally had some answers for you Jaden was coming home to you both.. He is such a special little boy and so very loved...

Aunty,
The system is crazy with how the foster vs adoption proccess work. I know you will be an amazing mom and although you are taking the risk of getting attached but I belive in my heart this will all work out and you will have all your dreams come true.. you deserve it honey...We love you...

It's funny because my hubby and I often say how lucky we are to have Kennedy. We of course would love a house full of children but if we have one we have one and we are happy. I don't think I will go through IVF again. I guess we are just thinking whatever is meant to be will be.. Again we are so lucky to have what we do..

Em thank you for bringing up this thread.. I have often thought of you all and how you are.. Is Carolyn still around? I tried to lurk for her but I could not find her..

You are all in our thoughts and prayers..
love and hugs
Jackie

Hello

Sorry to butt in on your thread but I just wanted to say hi and well done to ALL of you. You are just all doing brilliantly. I don't come on here much anymore but this thread reminded me of the love and support I got while going through treatment (and after Ellie's birth!)

I don't have time for personals now but wanted to say congratulations to all of you, as you all deserve it in one way or another!!

Well done

Much love

Jo

Jo, its great to hear from you and I'm so pleased to hear Ellie is doing so well.

I often used to come on to see how people I knew got on, like Nickimark and CarolynB. Its hard to see that they are struggling and worrysome when they are quiet.

I know its a shock about my natural BFP. After 5 years of trying to just fall pregnant like that so soon after having the twins is amazing. We said we wanted 3 children and although its happened a little sooner than we expected, we are thrilled. We now have the heartrenching decision on what to do with our 9 frosties.

Take care old friends,

Em

Hello guys

what a good idea this thread is! it is great to read everyone's news!!

I am not connecting to the site very often since it was getting too hard emotionnaly

I am one of the 2006 batch not lucky enough to have a little one yet...
my M/C at 3 months was very very hard, and I only came to term with it a couple of months back, thanks to hypnotherapy!

We also started the adoption process and passed the adoption panel in december! this was the easy part, but now we face many other difficulties. Many countries closes their door to us because we are not the average couple (I am 26 and DH 54...)
And anyway, the waiting list are very very long... 2 to 4 years...
DH is not getting any younger...

Anyway, it is nice to hear from you all,

I will check all the pics on the photobucket

Hi Souri,

Its great to hear from you. I am so sorry that you have been through so much but think its great that you are looking at adoption. It is incredible to think that there are so many children out there without anyone to feed and clothe them let alone love them and yet the bureacrats make it so difficult to adopt one. Hang in there, one day you'll get that phone call and soon you'll be taking home someone special.

Thinking of you,

Em

Souris..
It's so good to hear from you. You are such a strong lady. I can't imagine how hard this time has been for you. I agree with Em though and there are so many children out there that need a loving home. I just know you and your hubby will have a child.. You and Aunty both will make some childs life truly amazing.. It's so good to hear from you and please know that you are never far from our thoughts and prayers..

Em
It is shocking that you fell pregnant so quickly but maybe that is what your body needed (sort of like a jump start) Congratulations on your new little one.. How far along are you now?

Hugs
Jackie

Souris hun so good to read you again, i'm so sorry you have been through so much and are finding the next step so hard, it's all so unfair, i hope you can find a place that will just see what we see, really good potential parents and not the age gap, drives me nuts that you have to go through that. please keep in touch.
