Dear All
Thank you for all the support and cheering on. It is very much appreciated.
OMG. Simply cannot believe my ticker. OMG. Not too long now.
My sister is doing amazingly well. They have scanned her and just think that she is carrying a big boy rather than anything more serious! They have run tests and don't think that it is gestational diabetes. I am just so relieved. I just want all to be well for my sister and my son.
I went to Birmingham on Wednesday to see my sister. We went to the hospital together and met with lots of the staff to understand how it was going to work as her m-wife had said that I could not stay and look after our boy. They had a surrogacy case there about 6 months ago and it seems like it was a train wreck. So they are keen to use us as guinea pigs and try to get it right this time. We needed to see the child protection supervisor (!!!???) then we spoke to the delivery suite manager and we met with the ward manager also. They all loved the story and were keen to do what they can. At least that should be one less stress when we are there. I cannot get a bed or anything but that does not matter at all. Just don't want to be evicted when the visiting comes to an end and then my sister being asked to do things which will increase bonding for her. Hopefully this is one less thing for us all to worry about.
Hope that I will be able to post news from my Blackberry on the day but not sure. You may have to wait until we are back in London for news!!!!
Thank you all for cheering us on. Means the world to me. Please keep everything crossed that all will go well for my amazing sister and my boy.
Love and Luck to you all
Carolyn
