No the triplets part is true, I wish it was the dream! Not that I don't want everything God has blessed me with I just don't want to get attached like last time and then miscarry again. I have been bleeding for two weeks and believe Baby C is miscarring. I am only 7 weeks along. OK, this isn't meant to be a downer...can't wait to watch reality TV tonight! HA!

Babyhope- you are certainly not a downer...congrats on the triplets and I hope you are not miscarrying. Keep us updated on your progress, when is your next scan or beta?

It if fun to talk about reality tv, but our "reality" is ivf, so when I started this thread I didn;t expect people not to talk about thier journeys. I actually welcome it and would love to get to know you all. Reality tv and infertility just happen to be 2 things we have in common!

Ok, so i will post tomorrow about the shows, I will probably watch both tonight, I let dh play video games last night, so I expect no complaints later!

Babyhope- Congratulations on the triplets. I am sure you are just on pins and needles as to what your body is doing to you. I am sorry that you miscarried before. Just keep taking care of yourself. God has an awesome plan for you and you just have to trust in what he is doing to and for you.

Infertility for me is such a roller coaster ride. I got my BFP on my first try, almost 5 years ago. I have a beautiful daughter to show for it. So, I figured many more children were in the words. IVF #2, turned out BFN, then we did a FET, where everything was absolutely perfect, and again we got a BFN:( I was devistated and said we were done. IVF is completely out of pocket for us, and DH and I are both teachers, so make very little money. WE have actually spent almost $31K on this journey. So, I said I would be happy with my dd and move on. Well, that didn't last very long and I started thinking about going to CCRM and doing one more cycle. However, it is $25K. Then I decided to just be content again, and now I am back to wanting to do IVF. I just don't know when to stop. I had always wanted at least 5 kids, but.....God obviously had/has something else planned for me.
How do you know when to quit? Or do you just keep going until your body is too old? UGH!!!!
Sorry to babble about my IVF journey. Just thought we could get to know each other and our journeys a little.

Anyhow....Bachelor....well, there really wasn't as much drama as I had thought there would be. I was totally shocked that he let Natalie go. Then I was more shocked as to her reaction. I had thought all along that she was a pretty good girl, wow, my thoughts sure changed after he sent her packing. He was so sweet in saying that he didn't want to keep her, if there was nothing there. It just wouldn't be fair to her. And no, I don't think she was ready to be a mother.
Loved the date with Stephanie, however, it was more about her daughter than her. I really don't think there is chemistry there  I just love her. However, I believe she is the only person he hasn't really kissed. Ya, she kissed him on her one on one time, but it was just a peck. So....
Don't understand why he is keeping psycho Shannon around. I can't stand her. Also, with the drama going on, why didn't he just let both Erica and Megan go? I thought he had more of a connection with Erica than he did Megan.

Anyhow....didn't watch Mama's boys last night. Will try to watch it tonight. So, DON"T give it away yet!!!!!

Hi ladies!
I don't know about all of you, or if your jobs are like mine- but the 3 day weekend was definitely needed. I'm 13 wks along and exhausted every minute of everyday... so having an extra day to get the housework done that I ignored for 2 days was needed. And I JUST took down the Christmas tree! How lazy am I?!

Babyhope- you are certainly in my thoughts. Congratulations on the triplets! How exciting! Let us know how your next u/s goes - i'm assuming you have one at 8 weeks???

While it's a week later, I hated the ending of the Biggest Loser last week! I kind of had more respect for Bob, though - not that it's right to scream at the contestants, but she needed to see how much work he and everyone else puts into it. What's sad is that I'm from Toledo so my husband and I were hoping the Detroit group would be great... but honestly, I can't stand Joelle. The whole "fake it until I make it" thing drove me nuts.

I think Shannon got a sympathy vote last night on the Bachelor. I know she's quirky but she's really needy and a little dramatic. I don't know if I could have someone put wet plaster on my chest on date #1. I might try to hold something back! And I did think the date with Stephanie's daughter was really sweet... but I agree you, hrobinson- i don't think there's much there. I do love her accent, though!

Have a great day everyone! Back to work today... :(

hrobinson- I am happy to hear about your dd you were blessed with and also sorry to here about your ivf journey after that. I know it is tough financially and emotionally to decide what to do. It makes me nervous about my upcoming cycle. I had a bfp on my first ivf, blessed with my beautiful dd, and now I am trying for #2. I would like to be optimistic since it worked for me first time, but I just know it is not realistic and anything could happen. I say this will be my last chance b/c insurance coverage runs out after this and I could never afford it, but I also find myself saying things like, well I would be willing to do an equity loan for another baby (and I am not willing to do loans for anything!) So we will see what happens.

Ok, the bachelor- I also did not think it was as much drama as they made it out to be. I am glad erica went home, she was typical CT trash, talking about people and being 2 faced. I didn;t think she represented CT well and I didn't like her from day one. I also think shannon got a symptathy vote, but she won';t last long, i don't see any chemistry there. I don;t like meghan, she is too foul mouthed and too much of a trouble maker, I don;t think she is jasons type. I love stephanie, she is so sweet, her and her daughter, but I also don;t think they have much chemistry. I think that she is this season what jason was to deanna last season. I mean, deanna knew in her hheart that jason was the perfect guy and should have been her choice, but she just didn;t feel it. I think the same of stephanie, she is perfect for him, the right one, but he will follow his heart in the end and not pick her, but i do think she will last a while. And natalie, she was too materialistic and I am glad he let her go, it was kinda crappy though that he picked up the rose and started telling her he had a good time and then didn't give it to her. It was kinda like deanna letting him get down on one knee and propose but then she said no.

So I still think Melissa has a good chance of being the winner, but I am still pulling for stephanie, and I really like Jillian too (the hot dog girl), she is just so fun and genuiine.

HR- Let us know when you watch mommas boys so we can talk about.

Biggest loser- they are showing some previews for tonight about the really big 19 year old, something about fighting for his life. I will tape it and probably watch it tomorrow or by the end of the week, since dh likes to watch idols and we will watch inauguration stuff tonight too.

Ok ladies, I will check back later...

Okay, so I watched a TON of TV last night....neglected my other things, but felt I needed to just sit and relax for a little bit.
So, I started with Mama's Boys. OMG!!!!!
First, I wanted to comment about what Michael did last week by getting rid of Megan. I could not believe, though he had a great connection, he went with his mother and got rid of her. I thought she was so cute, and I thought they really hit it off. I think it is time for him to get off his mama's nipples.
Anyhow, about the finale.....I couldn't believe how Michaels mother responded when Erica told her that she was the Penthouse Playmate of the year. I would have been livid. She held onto that secret for way to long. I do not feel that it was fair to Michael. Then I couldn't believe that after the show she went to Florida to see Michael's mother.
Did they ever say what happened to Amanda and Michael? I do not think it will last. I didn't feel that she was his type.

Okay, Rob. What an idiot. He did not have the connection with Lauren that he had with Camela. It really showed as he was saying his goodbye to her. I thought he was going to quickly change his mind. HOwever, again it was one of those, let me do what my mommy wants me to do. I did think it was amusing though that he ended up leaving the trip early without Lauren. Guess he should have gone with what he wanted.

I was so confused with Mindy. I thought she was walking away from JoJo, but then they ended up getting together. Her speech was so great, and so truthful. I just love to hear her talk. Mrs. B is such a freak. I could not believe that she was saying all that stuff about leaving with a broken heart. UGH!!! I also couldn't believe the date the two of them went on. That was just creepy. I was surprised mom didn't ask him to make out with her.
And with Mindy and JoJo, they didn't give an update. What do you think?

Okay, now Biggest Loser- How on earth did Joelle make it yet another week? My gosh, I thought if she would ever drop below the yellow line she was a sure gonner. However, she remained. The only think I can think of it Jillian's team did it strategically. Think about it, Joelle is consistantly the weekest length, so that will keep them going.
I also couldn't believe how upset Joelle was that she was going.
I was really happy that the 19 year old did so well. However, did you guys see the preview for next week? DEPRESSING!!!!!!!
Okay, gotta go get ready for the rest of my day. Students will come in here in about 15 minutes.

ok, I finally watched the biggest loser, so I can talk about it now.

I am with you hrobinson, how in the heck did joelle make it!?! Damien deserved to stay, but I am glad he had his fiance at home to do it with. Maybe jillians team felt like damien would be successful at home, and joelle will not. Joelle will just go back to her ways, and her partner does deserve a chance, but i still don;t like joelle, she needs to change her attitude.

And the previews from last week look pretty sad, but why do they give away so much of the episode?

To respond about momma's boys- I am also really suprised that Michaels mom reacted so well about the penthouse model. Atleast she was honest, I know that if she had known from the beginning she would have cast her off and not given her a chance. I try to think about if my someone I loved told me a deep dark secret, how would I react? Would I love them any less? Like if my brothers wife admitted to nude modeling, I would still love her.

Rob definitely made the wrong choice, and that was obvious from the update. I want to know if he called camilla. I was mad at his mom esther, because mrs. b got all of the flack from being racist, but atleast she was upfront about it. Rob's mom, esther, kept her feelings to herself until she felt like rob might choose someone out of his faith and race. I really wish he had picked camilla.

As far as mrs b goes- I can't believe midy went with jojo. I would never date someone with a mom like that, or attached to his mom like that. I am sure it will not work, and would love to know. That last date was really creepy, and how much she tells him she loves him and she makes comments about how sexy he is, thats just weird.

I am mad they didn;t give better updates. I tried to look it up online, but couldn't find any info. i always like to know what happens months after taping is done.

Oh well...until next week!

Hey ladies, I know what you are saying about IVF and out of pocket, we paid about $12,500 and it didn't work for us. All out of pocket. Anyway, I did get a medical loan through citi health loans...the interest rate is super low, like less than 2%.

ARC pointed them to me. So my fert clinic has a package for $12,400 + additioal $1,800 for ICSI (which if I was going to do it I wasn't going to take chances so we did ICSI) anyway, ARC has prenegotiated rates with Fert Clinics Nationwide for those without any insurance coverage. So their rate was $10,700+$1,800 for ICSI. It included cryopreservation etc.

Anyway, had the scan today and Baby C isn't growing anylonger, I think the bleeding was a miscarriage of Baby C. It is bittersweet, three is a lot all at once and the risks are so high. Then agian, its God's child so I am mixed emotions.

Biggest Loser- it was sneaky for Blaine and Jullian's team to tell them they were voting for Joelle and then not do so. They know she will bring them down, she is no threat at all, strategy...

Bachelor-I think he really likes Melissa because she is a b*#@$# however, he said he never noticed her or hasn't seen the rebellious side to her that made the other girls vote her off the first night. However, after Harrison said she could stay, she flat out called all of them Bitches right in front of him right before he asked her to accept the rose. I would have had a second thought on my mind at that point but love is blind and there Jason goes...

Either they are hiding the chemistry between Jason and Stephanie or there isn't any. I think he knows she is a safe choice but seems people are always intrigued by relationships that post a challenge.

Anyway, enought from Dr Babyhope. HA! Have a good week...

Babyhope- so sorry to hear about baby c. My thoughts are with you. And I completely understand about your mixed emotions. Thanks for the info about finances, i will have to look into some things if we need to pay out of pocket.

I think you meant to say Meghan instead of Melissa when you were talking about the bachelor. Melissa is the cheerleader from texas that a lot of people think will win, Meghan is the foul mouthed one with a kid who seems to be in all the drama.

Ok guys, I have a favor to ask. Ella is in the final round of a photo contest. It starts today and goes until the end of the month. You can vote once a day. If you guys have time and don;t mind, would you like to vote? I will put the link here:

http://www.babiesonline.com/babycontest ... ?page=2001

You can copy and paste, she is right in the middle. Thanks!

I will talk to you all soon!

Babyhope- I am so sorry to hear about baby C. You seem to have your head on straight. I hope the rest of your pregnancy goes smoothly and you are able to enjoy every moment of it.
Also, thank you for providing the financial information that you did. I am still so back and forth on it. I just wish there were more of a guarantee that things would work out for us. I know that if we put it off another year we can definately afford it as dd will be in Kindergarten and we will no longer be paying the preschool and daycare bill. However, I will also be another year older and not real sure if I want to wait that long.

CT Michele- I know what you mean about Melissa being teh one to win. She is really cute, has a great smile etc. However he really hasn't spent much time with her. SO, not sure she will really be the winner.
Meghan has such a foul mouth. She does not belong around Tye. Anyhow...

Well, will have more to say after the show tomorrow night.

ok, so last night on the bachelor...

can i just say I am so glad certain people are gone! The stalker girl, hygenist had to go, and i knew she would when i saw the look on jasons face when she was saying, "you can't let me go, you have to keep me, i won;t let you let me go." He totally pulled away when she tried to kiss him.

And fouled mouth megan, thank goodness she's gone. She was not a good match for him.

And nikki...i liked her so much week one, i think she got the first impression rose, but she started to seem to needy as the weeks went on. She kept saying how desperate she was to be a mom and a wife, I don;t think she cared who it would have been with, she just wants to be married.

On the 2 on 1 date I was nervouse he would send both home, but I am really glad he kept stephanie, I still like her, even though I think the chemistry is missing.

So, I do think it will be melissa, or maybe jillian? They both seem like good matches for him.

I have a question about the biggest loser I forgot to ask last week. When they did the temptation, with the partner at home for who would eat the most calories, where was the orange team? the team with the heaviest 19 yr old and his friend. They weren't there, did anyone else notice that?

CT-Michele- Wow, you are really observant. I did not even notice that the organge team wasn't there last week until you mentioned it. I wonder what is up with that. They definately would have won because his partner (can't remember his name), is horrible. He doesn't seem to eve be trying to lose the weight at home.
I just saw the previews for tonights show again. I think it wil be a really sad episode. However, I think they need to allow the orange team boy to stay. I do not think he has any support. The brown team kid, I think wil have support at home. Plus, I wonder if the brown team kid went home, and his dad stayed, would he be allowed to come back next week with all the other players? Does that make sense/

Anyhow...... Bachelor. It really was a little stressful watching the two on one date. I just knew that he would send Stephanie home because there is not chemistry there. Even Jason said that he had to see if there was chemistry. I was shocked that he sent Nikki home....but quite relieved. Nikki was to "scheduled" and that is not the type of person Jason comes across as being. I was shocked two weeks ago when Nikki said she has to rehearse even the things that she is going to say. That has got to be hard in the real world.

I was shocked at Melissa's reaction on the group date. She just hasn't seemed to care that much up until now. however, that whole date really was a downer. I really thought they would all be laughing and having a great time. How wrong I was.

Yes, I was really glad that Meghan and Psycho Shannon went home. It wa obvious that he was going to send both of them home, with the way he avoided their kisses. I was shocked at Meghan's kiss on the screening of General Hospital. Can you say DESPERATE!!!!! I still go back to her foul mouth would not make it around Ty. It's just not necessary.
Psycho Shannon should have gone the first week. She kind of freaked me out from the vry beginning.

I was a little shocked that he sent Lauren home. She was really pretty, and pretty outgoing. however, she did come across as very bossy, and opinionated. I just about died when she asked him why he kept Meghan. That was really none of her business.

With the girls that he has left.....I think he has the best connection with Molly and Jillian. There is something about Jillian that I just don't like. I do hope he ends up with Melissa, but I don't think he has as good of a connection with her. So....

Can't wait to watch Biggest Loser tonight.

Babyhope- I sure hope you are feeling well. Let us know what you thought of Bachelor

Thanks ladies, I sleep 12 hours these days so I can't stay up to watch it...but bless the DVR, I watched it when I got up this morning. Oh, btw, I am doing great thanks for asking. I was relieved without having the risks of triplets at first then relief turned into grief. I am doing alright now, just really unsure of this pregnancy again, really insecure because I have lost three babies now. Life is such a blessing and a miracle. I stopped bleeding finally so that is a relief.

OK now back to "reality." Well, I like the women he picked to stay. I think the gal (can't remember her name) that stayed the night in the tent should have shown herself respect by coming home. Even if it was like at 4 am or something, at some point in the night you wake up, to go to the bathroom or something. Anway, she disrespected herself and the other women, I understand its a competition but goodness, she even called it the walk of shame. In my sorority if we came home the next day in the clothes we wore out that night (or someone else's) we were required to walk in the back door!

I like Melissa and Jullian but he did dabble that they may be more in the friend category on this show...I am glad he had Stephanie stay, he understands by asking her to stay its taking her away from Sophie, it was mentioned by another gal and was mentioned on his show with Deanna...so...I think he does like her and the show tends to hide the one he has the most emotion for, that is how the show works, so the ending will be a happy surprise...go Steph!

I didn't realize his connection to Naudia, what is her name, the one with the wig on the General Hosp thing...anyway, can't wait till next week.

Babyhope- Glad that you are feeling good. Take advantage off those 12 hours nights as long as you can. I cannot remember the last time I got more than about 6 hours of sleep. My dd, who is three (almost 4) does not require much sleep. We usually put her down around 8pm, but most nights she doesn't fall asleep until 10 - 11pm. UGh!!! And of course she is up between 6 and 6:30 every morning.
So, sleep all you can.
I am sorry to hear that you are starting to feel grief right now. I am sure you are going through all the right emotions at the right time. Don't keep it in. Talk as much as you can. Are the other two babies hb nice and strong? Do you know yet (forgot how pregnant you are), the sexes of the little ones?

Watched Biggest Loser last night. I was fairly disappointed in the show. they didn't show much of anything. Plus, I was upset that we already knew who the two below the line would be. Kind of takes the excitement of the weigh in out of it.
I felt really bad for Dan, as I feel like he really needed to be there. I also think he had just turned a corner and was giving it more. But, his screwy partner ruined it for him. I am really glad that the bown team stayed though. I was amazed at how good Dan looked at the after math stuff. He is still big, but man, he looked good.
Do y'all have a favorite yet? I can't say that I have one yet. I just really don't like teh green team, and not sure why. I do love the blue team.

Okay, anxious to hear y'alls thoughts.

Hey, have you guys seen that SURVIVOR is coming back on February 12!!!! I love Survivor!!!

Hi everyone!
How is everybody doing? We just got a winter storm in Ohio so I'm like a 90-year old lady on the road with white knuckles and my face pressed against the windshield.

Babyhope- I'm so sorry to hear about your baby. I can't imagine what you must be going through. I agree with Hrobinson - no matter what the emotion, always let it out. How far along are you?? Are you going to find out the sex of your two babies?

The Bachelor - I'm a big fan of Molly but my thought was - why not change back into your clothes you wore when you got there rather than going home in his clothes in front of all of the other women??? It seems really distasteful, although I'm not sure how tasteful a show can be about sharing a guy!! :) I think he really likes her. I like Melissa - but I think she seems really young (and I'm only 2 yrs older than her) and not yet ready to jump into being a stepmother. Jillian seems okay - she's grounded and seems to stay above any of the weird stuff going on at the house. But I'm really glad the 3 that left are gone. Lauren started to bug me bc I think she took her flirtatious bossing him around way too far and the other two were just awful to me. I couldn't take Shannon anymore. I blame the hormones but man, did she bug me.

The Biggest Loser - I noticed that the Orange Team wasn't there at the temptation, too!! That drove me crazy! And part of me thought that Dave didn't want to be there at the ranch bc he would actually have to work and be monitored and couldn't cheat on his diet like he obviously does. It made me sad to see how fantastic Dan did and how serious he took it and then Dave, who comparatively didn't lose much weight and wasn't into it. It's such a big opportunity! I'm a fan of the blue team - Filipe's reactions when he loses weight are priceless to me. He seems like a good guy.

Hope you all are doing well!!
