of the 18 total eggs nine fertilized and today at noon they plan to transfer, however there are only four embryos now


im so confused, what happened with the others? is this attrition rate typical??

our doctor said to transfer all four embryos but cautioned that he doubts any of them will produce a pregnancy.

I was so certain we were having such good news, so many eggs and so many fertilized, it was just absolutely going to mean we were going to be pregnant.
