Good morning reality friends!

Well, I had my beta yesterday and it wasn't good news. I was 13dp3dt and the number was a 5. She essentially said it is a negative but they want me to retest on wednesday, so the torture continues for 2 more days. of course I am hoping I am one of those miracle stories you here about that has a fighter in there, but I really think that is not the case. The clinic even apologized and said they do not want me to have false hope. In some ways, I just wish it were 0 yesterday so it could be over with.

On a lighter note, I am loving all the shows too.

Amazing Race- It has been so much fun so far. I love the globetrotters of course. None of the other teams really stand out as favorites yet, but I don't like the team with the obnoxious guy who yells at his girlfriend. I also didn't like the poker girls because they lied in the beginning, but they were quiet this week, so maybe they will redeem themselves.

Biggest Loser- It was so sad to see red go this week, but I was so excited to see the update. I knew when that girl went home week 1 and she said she had a cruch on someone at the ranch that it was him! So nice to see them find love, and I knew the red team would do well at home. The purple lady needs to go. I feel bad for her partner. I am still rooting for abby on the green team, she is so nice and deserves it.

Survivor- I am glad that guy went home this week. Now they need to get rid of Russ and maybe that tribe will have a chance. As long as Russ is there poisoning that team, they will continue to self destruct. I am not liking that the challenges are for both reward and immunity. I hope they start separating them again.

I will update you guys tomorrow or thursday after i get my next beta #.

I am so sorry Michelle. I dont' know if it is better to keep your head up and hope that you just have a late implanter. Or, go ahead and say it didn't work this time. TECHNICALLY you are still pregnant.
I am going to hope that you have a fighter in you. Miracles do happen.

Biggest Loser- I am so sad that they are sending home whole teams instead of just one person off a team. These people all need this so badly. They say that they can do it at home (the red team), but it didn't work when they were home before, what makes them think it will work now? I just wish there were some way that EVERYONE got to stay for say a month...or something, then they could start eliminating people.

Amazing Race- I loved the first episode where one team was eliminated immedately. They were such good sports about it too. It would be cool if at some point in the race they got to come back. Just another little twist.
Ya, noone really sticks out in my minds yet as really good. I am kind of pulling for the autistic guy and his friend. It is so hard for autistic people to go out and do something like this so.....

Survivor- I think Russ will make it pretty far in the game. They don't seem to be catching on to the fact that he is a complete fool. And yes, that tribe is going to self destruct. Can't say that I am loving any individual on the team yet. Haven't gotten to know them very well yet.

I also like the team who has a member with autism. My husband and I find it interesting to watch, since my husband is a residential group home manager for adults with autism. The guys he cares for could never do the amazing race, they are much lower functioning. The guy on the amazing race, if I remember correctly, said he has aspergers syndrome, which makes sense watching him. He clearly exhibits signs or autism (routine, lack of eye contact) but he definitely has more drive to be soical than most people who has autism. It would be nice to see that team be successful.

Kim, please post again soon, no need to be red-faced!

Which reality shows do you watch? I watch them all, but just haven't posted here in a while b/c most of the people I use to post with aren'r around anymore.

HR- did you see who the next bachelor is? It is JAKE, the perfect pilot from last season. Yes, I know sometimes he seemed like a goober, but he was soooo nice and I am hoping he finds someone deserving of him.

So let me catch up quick...

biggest loser- I can't stand the purple lady that was with coach mo, she needs to go. If I won her power, I would have let people stay with their partners, I think that was pretty mean. And omg, Liz! She didn't stand out for me in the beginning, but it was so nice of her to give danny his video from home. And the other girl who tried to give hers away too (the dark haired pink team girl, can't remember her name). And of course I am still rooting for abby, I can't wait to see on tuesday when they go home for the week.

Survivor- I still hate russ, he needs to go home.

Amazing race- so sad to see that team go b/c they lost their passport. I was hoping they would make it far in the race.

Aww thanks Michele!

I am currently behind on the Amazing Race (I have been so tired in the evenings lately!)

Mostly right now I have stayed on top of Survivor, with the exception of this week's show. I was glad they got rid of that guy last week, too. My DH loves Russ's evil ways, but I cannot stand him. I wish people would wise up. The only thing I like about him is how he was able to find the immunity idol without any clues! Wow! Unfortunately I think I've followed enough reality shows to know that Russ will stay around much longer than I want him to.

I hadn't heard that Jake was the new Bachelor. I used to not watch the Bachelor at all, but when everyone at work was talking about this guy being on the show with a son, I started watching. I seem to be hooked now. I told myself I only watched the Bachelorette because it was coming to Vancouver (my hometown), but now I have no more excuses! I am not sure how I feel about Jake. At first I thought he was so sweet, but then I just thought he seemed so stiff and fake. I guess I'll have to watch the new show to get see a little more of him to know what he's really like.

Looking back in your posts, I should have joined when BB was still on. You had the exact same thoughts and predictions as my DH did!

Well, I'll try this ticker thing again...

Welcome Kim. Our thread has kind of dwindled down some what since it first started. We always love newbies.

First off...Michelle- I am so sorry that your FET did not work. There is nothing that anyone can say or do to make it easier. I do promise that time does hellp though. We are currently trying to "jump back on the wagon" and do a fresh cycle again. I have contacted the new clinic and just got the price list for them. YIKES!!!!! Just for my initial one day work up it is going to cost 4K up front. The whole thing is about 25K. I am starting to question if we REALLY need to do this or not. However, as I told my sis, if I don't then in 5 years when it is too late I will wonder if it would have worked. We obviously don't have that kind of money (as both of us are teachers) but somehow things will work out.
Just know that I am still praying for you and for some answers from your dr.

Must admit I have not watched last weeks Amazing Race yet....will do that as soon as I am done typing this. It has been hard to keep up with all my shows lately.
I watched Survivor on Thursday, but can't say that anything really exciting seems to be happening there. I don't like that guy who thinks he is the only one who can start a fire. He just seems to cocky for me. However, I can't say that there is anyone that I am really pulling for either.
As much as I dislike Russ, he has been running the show and noone is even concerned about him. How stupid must they be?

I had not heard anything about Bachelor yet. I am excited that it is Jake. I really liked him. I don't think he will propose on the show though. He is just too cautious. Can't wait until it happens. I would have loved to have seen either Reid or Kiptyn on. There were some really good guys on this past show.
I did recently read that Jillian and Ed are doing really geat. She is living with him in Chicago. So, there may be a wedding in the future. Would love to know what ever happened to Wes.

Biggest Loser- I have been so amazed at the wonderful people on this episode. They are so kind and caring. I agree that both Liz and the pink shirt girl really shocked me with their videos. They all seem like such a tight knit group...except for annoying purple shirt girl. I wish they would have gotten rid of her.
I felt so bad for Mo. I really liked him. Maybe it's because he is a coach (just like dh). However, I think he will go on to lose weight just fine. He was a stand up guy.

Okay...off to watch Amazing race.

Hr- I hear ya about the cost, I am a teacher who is not even working right now, and my husband makes about the same as a group home manager for adults with autism, so we are scraping by as it is. 25K for one try? That seems like a lot. I think my clinic is around 15k, but I found another clinic close by that does a shared risk program for 33k, and you get 6 tries and that includes cryo. Only problem is I weigh too much to qualify for now, so I am trying to lose some weight, and in the meantime, thinking about getting a crappy retail job that might give me more insurance coverage for another attempt.

So if you are just watching last weeks amazing race I am guessing you didn't watch last nights either. I will reserve comment until you catch up.

Survivor- I think the asian girl is onto Russ, and I hope she is able to get rid of him before he gets rid of her. I also do not like fire boy, he is too cocky and he will get voted out because of it soon. I think it really stinks that shambo did not get to enjoy the reward. I understand his reasoning about losing a chicken, but he definitely should have picked someone who sat out of the challenge, that would have been the fair thing to do.

Biggest loser- They do all seem kind and caring...and I can not believe they did not take the chance to get rid of purple lady. Bob and Jillian are going to be shocked and appalled when they find out.

Bachelor- I don't know, I think Jake will propose. That was his one flaw I thought last season, was that he really wants love soooo bad. I did not think Jillian was a good match for him, but he was so into her because he wants that long term relationship so bad. I think if he finds a good partner, he will propose, he is such a hopeless romantic. Did you see they are subtitling this season "The Wings of Love." So corny, but of course I will watch it religiously.

Maybe we will have more people join our reality chats when the Bachelor starts again in January. That is what started this thread originally.

Oh my goodness what happened to this topic? I know I have just been way too busy to post lately. And, actually, last weeked I sat down and watched three weeks of Survivor. I don't know how I got so far behind.
I cannot believe I am going to say this, but I hope Russ wins. In my opinion he is playing the game the way it needs to be played to win. I was so impressed this past week when AGAIN he found the idol with NO clue. You just know he is going to find it next time too.
The preview for next week made the show look stupid....all of them chasing Russ while he is looking for the idol.

Still watching Amazing Race. While I thought I was going to root for the Globe Trotters, they made me mad a couple weeks ago when the poor girl was having a breakdown on the slidde, and they just egged it on. I thought that was classless.
so, now I don't know who I am rooting for.
I am glad the poker girls are gone. What was up with all the hugging last week? That seemed a little off to me.
I couldn't believe they did the hay challenge again. that one is horrible.

AND Biggest Loser....still loving it. I think it is amazing that there is noone that just stands out as the "competiion" that will probably win it all. they are all on the same playing field. I must admit that while it was sad o see Shay leave, I was glad hey voted her off. Her whole weight loss (or lack of it) seemed a little odd to me. With as much as she weighed, you would have thought that she would have dropped the weight a lot easier.
Again, with this show I don't have anyone that I just really, really hope wins...However, I am pushing a little for Liz (which noone else seems to like) and for Alan. I like him a bunch:)

Okay, hope everyone is good.

Hey HR- I have also been crazy busy, and have wanted to post here, but no one else was posting. I didn't want to be the only one!

Survivor- I was so hoping Russ would get the blind side and then was mad when he found the other idol. It is crazy that he has found 2 with no clues, I just can not believe it. He is a horrible person, but does deserve to win, he is playing a great game. I really did enjoy seeing everyone's face though when he pulled out that second idol.

Amazing race- I still like the globetrotters. That girl (I think her name was mika) really annoyed me. And I can understand her fear, but that is part of the game too. I don;t fault the trotters for that, especially with me having a basketball background myself, a lot of times it is all about getting in someones head. I did not like the gay brothers this week, I was so mad that the one brother was yelling at the other one looking through the hay. I kinda like the dad and son with the pink hair, they really seem like a good pair and they never gave up, so I hope they can overcome their obstacle next week.

Biggest loser- I hated to see shay go. I think there was no reason for anyone to vote her off except pure gameplay. She is not a threat. There is no way she will lose enough to win the game, so I felt like they should have kept her there, the other one does not have that much more to lose. Not sure if I have any clear favorites, I kinda like both pink girls. I like liz too, not sure there is anyone I don't like right now, but I guess I am rooting for the younger ones, especially now that they lost 2 of their own this past week.

I will try to post more often here, as long as I still have you with me!

Watched Amazing Race last night. I was so disappointed to see the father son team get eliminated. I will give it to them that they never gave up. Realistically, I like all the teams that are left, so I will have a hard time when any of them leave.

Biggest Loser Tuesday. This is one episode that I don't really get in to. I know I should love to see their transformations, but I would rather see a "regular" episode. Is that horrible of me?

Angie- I have not been keeping up with UK x-factor, but maybe if it is getting close to the end I will download a few episodes and watch the end.

HR- no, you're not bad for disliking the makeover show, even though I kinda dig it. I like it most for them surprising the contestants with their families. I am an emotional mess when I see the reunions on any show. I was sad to see the pink girl go, I liked her. I don't think she was untrustworthy at all.

Did you watch survivor this past week? Crrraaaaazzzzzy! Russ is an animal, I don't know how he does it. I was glad the guy switched his vote. If I were playing the game, I would never want a tied vote to go to a random draw that included the possibility of me going home, I don't care about any alliance. His tribe was wrong for trying to get people to vote for him even if he was not the target. I wonder from the previews for next week who they are going after? If they were smart, they would grow a brain and go after russ. If he makes it to the end, he will win, he is too good of a game player. I am just starting to think he deserves to win, but it looks like next week he is returning to his evil ways, and I am sure I will hate him again.

Okay, I wached Biggest Loser last night and was a mess. Even though make-over show is not my favorite, I enjoyed it. I cried hearing their speeches. I wish we would have been able to hear the whole speech.
It was also great to see their families.
I too was sad to see Pink girl go home. However, I am not ready for Liz to go yet. She made a really good point in saying that her life is more than half over. If she doesn't get all the help that she needs NOW, she will never make it. I do think she will go next though.

Can't wait to see BL next week on Wednesday when they do the "where are they now show." Guess a past winner has now put all the weight back on. Wonder which one it is.

Survivor- WOW!!!! This season really has been a good one. I am loving russ more and more each week. He is such a strong, smart, powerful player. While I don't agree with everything he does/has done, I think he has played the best game in a LONG time. I didn't quite understand if everyone knows he has the idol or not. They just seemed to kind of drop it after he found it.
It doe look like everyone is gunning to get rid of him. Kind of makes me wonder what he has done to make everyone, including those on his "team" mad.
