Mini IVF and my story (needing support)

Postby Gemini74t » Tue Oct 28, 2014 3:28 pm

Tell you little bit about my story. Started my mini ivf journey in Sept 2014. They put me on very little drugs. I got 4 follicles ranging from 14-21 mm. We did the retrieval Oct 22,2014 we got two eggs I was little sad because I thought we would get 4 but, then doctor told me that they really only thought we would get three. (So I guess a little relieved) I think I was most scared because you see so many people getting tons of eggs and not many surviving. Well the next morning I got an email saying my egg was doing good and was fertilized but, the second one pending Happy and Sad. Got an update the next day saying my 1st egg was doing good and was grade B (4cells) and the 2nd had fertilized as well grade c(2cells).Little more happy but, still nervous will they make it till the following day for implantation. Came in the next morning to do the implant and they seemed so very positive my 1st egg advanced to 12 cells and 2nd egg went to 5 cells. My lining was at a 12 they said they like to see it at least a 7 or higher. We implanted both on Saturday October 25,2014. All that day and I have had little pains here and there I think its a good sign but, I really don't know. I am on day 4 and I am not sure what I should feel.I go back Wednesday the 5th of November. The waiting is killing me.

I am 40 I have 3 kids, ages 21,17 and 11.. Tubes got tied 10 years ago no fertility problems . I got remarried and we would like to have kids..

Thanks for reading my story any help would be great

Hi I just saw this too. I am new here. I hope everything worked out okay for you. I usually am on fertility.org (now that the site is back) and I find really good advice from people on there (and it doesn't take them this long to get to you). I hope to see you around and that all is well for you! :)
