Tubes failure

Postby Amandieangel » Thu Jul 21, 2016 10:05 am

Good whatever time of day it is where you are. I wanna share with my problems and concerns. My husband and I had been ttc for 9 months. Of course, we were told that it was not so much and we should continue trying. I know that for some couples it takes much longer to get pregnant. But somewhere inside me arose huge anxiety. I'm definitely a kind of person that cannot easily take control of disturbing emotions and ignore them. Because of this anxiety forced me to be constantly in worrying condition. I was trying to resist it but already in few weeks I made an appointment with the doctor for examination. And I hit the right path. It was found out that my tubes are blocked which prevents the sperm penetration into the egg and it cannot reach the uterus. The funniest thing is that there aren't any symptoms which can help to identify the abnormality. Those 9 months were for all that good indicator and my worries were reasonable. Our doctor told us that in such cases surgical treatment is the most often occurring solution. But in my particular situation tubes are damaged too much and there is no point in falling back on this procedure. So, the doctor advised us to consider assisted reproduction techniques that entirely bypass fallopian tubes. That's actually why I'm here. Could somebody consult me concerning such procedures like ICSI/IUI/IVF? I tried to google it and found enormous flow of information but still don't think I can define what's what for sure. So, if it isn't a problem for u, please, explain me the difference between the terms. Thanks.

Dear
For IUI you need to have at least one of the tube is normal i.e. function well
ICSI is a type of IVF used if your partner/husbamnd sperm count or quality or both are low
IVF is the method used for women whose tubes are blocked or not functioning

Best of luck

Blocked tubes... It seems like very common thing nowadays. Nevertheless, modern technologies are on the top. Hope everything will be fine with you. All women have unbelievable desire to become mothers. That's our nature, that's everything for us. I mean that nature is alongside with us. :)

Your information was really helpful, thank you. As I understood I have to use ICSI or IVF only. Ok, maybe someone has already had some experience on the matter and is aware of the details. I want a child so much, can't even explain these feelings. I'm ready for everything needed. Just tell me about your experience, about your trips, your feelings. I don't wanna stay lonely.

I don't want you to think you're lonely. No way! People on the forum are always ready to help you with whatever you need. A lot of doctors around the globe advise to keep calm in such cases, believe in your happiness, stay together with you dh and imagine you being a mother (how you hold your child, sing lullabies and take care of it). Self-suggestion and internal disposition really matter. Maybe it is coincidence that when women start doing so they get pregnant, but what if? You won't lose anything, try. Best wishes :D

I'm beginning to think you are psychologist. Is it really so? Your advice looks like professional recommendations. Whatever... I imagine such situations every day, believe me. Every day my maternal instinct runs higher and higher. I've even started the "preparation course" for me and my dh. That's how we normally spend our evenings together. I'm very happy that my husband is really enthusiatic about having a baby too. That helps. Due to this, I want to give birth to his baby even more. And what about you? Do you have children?

This is great. I mean your evenings and your husband's attitude to all this stuff. Hold you head up and keep moving towards your happiness. And no, I'm not a psychologist  I'm just interested in this area.
I have a daughter. My sunshine. She was not also born without additional help. Even so I love her more than anything else in the world.

I'm asking because you look like a psychologist. Think about it. It seems to me that you can get the hang of this.
Congrats to you and your daughter. I'm not going to push you by no means... but what was your problem? If it's okay to ask such a question at all. I don't want to offend you.

Thanks. I keep it in mind. Maybe some day I will become a psychologist in very deed. Who knows? But now my occupation is being a mother :)
Never mind. If not here, where can you ask such questions, right? I've got high blood pressure and pregnancy is absolutely counter-indicative at this stage. To have my daughter born it was compulsory to use help of surrogate mother. And finally we've got that help. You should be confident in your potential success. It was quite difficult for me too to find a clinic but in the long run everything was cool.

I'm sorry that you've experienced all that. Sometimes one question appears in my head. Why me? Perhaps it sounds egoistic. But I don't think that I've deserved all that. And that's not only about me. A lot of (really a lot of!) women in the whole world struggle and hope. Every day we leave our beds to fight. It's not difficult to imagine that you're in the war. Infertility war.
Don't you think so? And that's like hopelessness, dead-end. We have to look for clinics, doctors, time and money. And we manage to find all that. Of course we do because we wanna baby. We wanna be mothers.

I do not want to abuse you anyhow. But it looks like you're on the verge. I understand that you're fed up with all that but try to keep calm. We are where we are...
There is no point in blaming other people as well as complaining about things you have to go through. Everyone of us faces similar obstacles in this or that way. That's my opinion. Your problem has the solution. You are offered several variants. So you have great chances to solve it. There are always things to smile at. Every person can show weakness. But do not let this weakness change your inner world.
