no blasto again - why?

Postby CruzGibbs1975 » Tue May 22, 2018 3:46 am

I just went through the second IVF, feeling pretty deflated. 6 eggs retrieved, 5 fertilized - which I thought was good rate. but only to find out on day 5, there is no blasto to transfer. 1 early blasto, 3 morula, 1 arrested.

what does this very low blasto rate (0 out of 5) mean?

I somehow assumed high fertilization rate correlates to high blasto rate, but is it not true?

I have hard time finding pregnancy rate for day 5 early blasto (compared to full blasto). can anyone enlighten me?

not even one blasto out of good quality eggs, feels like the time and money just draining without any hope.
started to doubt the point of proceeding to the third cycle.
