Does anyone remember me???

Postby Tracey D » Sun Nov 10, 2002 11:06 pm

Hi everyone,

I haven't logged in since May/June when I was having my first IVF. Iused to speak to Caroline, Chris(who got pregnant) and the lovely Heather who was scared of fish!!!! Please send a message back if any of you are out there. So sorry that I haven't logged on for so long but had a rough couple of months because, cutting a long story short,I found out that I had extensive endometriosis and a fibroid.

I am in the dreaded 2ww of my second IVF and test on Thursday 21st Nov. Getting lots of twinges but trying to be positive. Got to the point in my life where I really don't believe that this is ever going to happen for me.

Tracey D

Hi Tracy D

I am relativley new to this, all of it . Just in the 2ww of my 1st IVF after sufffering an ecropic pregnancy in the spring. My e/t was on thursday, 2 embies out of 8 follicles, was not happy but better than none. I am trying to stop going around the bend by thinking that if this was all spontaneous we would be living stress free and only realize what has happened when the period was late.
We are going to be testing on the same day! I am crossing my everything for us both to be blessed with good news... In the meantime, look forward to 'talking' to you

S
Hi Tracey D and Suzi,

A third person to add to the testing on 21 Nov! I didn't think it would but it does make me feel better knowing there are others in exactely the same situation as myself.

I had a FET so don't have any symptoms which I'm taking as a bad sign. That and my experience of the first two frozen not surviving. See my query of "Experience of frozen FT not suriviving".

Hope you're both feeling OK

Susan

OOO I am so excited to hear from you all! Chris, how are you?? How many babies are you expecting, how are you feeling etc etc?? Heather I've missed you, you mad old thing. You used to have me in hysterics in the chat room.

Many thanks to the rest of you for replying. Can't believe there are three of us all testing on the same day - very bizarre. Keep fingys and toes crossed for all of us. How are you both feeling Suzy and Susan? Getting quite a few twinges in my tum and my boobs are sore.

Good luck Heather for your first IUI. I had 6 of them and they are just as stressful as IVF. Just remember to bonk like mad afterwards!!!

Hi Alison, I remember you too!! How many eggs did you get?

Love to you all and I am going to log in later to see if any of you are chatting around 8.00. That's if my computer lets me as its being tempremental.

Tracey D

So relieved to hear that things are on track - how far have you got?

Tracey - got 11, thanks for asking, so pleased, but am looking forwad to tomorrow and knowing how many fertilised - its dreadful, this isn't it, you're always worrying about the next bit!

Glad to be following you on the 2ww. I guess I'll be testing on 25 or 26 depending on when they do e/t.

Good luck to everyone!

Alison x

PS - that is, of course, assuming that at least some fertilise (I don't want to tempt fate in any way at all by assuming anything!!!)

Does anyone remember me???

Postby RLV » Wed Nov 13, 2002 8:31 pm

Hi there Tracey D! I remember you - do you remember me, Rachel (RLV)??? I was lucky and got pregnant 1st time with ICSI in June but then unluckily m/c at 11 wks. Massive shock as I had no bleeding or pain and all was ok at 9 wk scan. Then went for 11 wk scan and baby's heart had stopped. Picking ourselves back up and starting all over again next month.

Just to say I wish you loads of luck - don't worry about the pains, it is normal (like I kept telling you on your last go!). There really is no way of telling unless you bleed, till you test.

So keeping my fingers crossed and will be looking out for your results next week!

Take care, luv Rachel X

I am now 27 weeks pg and baby is due on the 15th Feb, I have only got the one and not sure of the sex.

This pregnancy has not been too smooth, have high blood pressure (which kept me in hospital for a week) and gestational diabetes but the clinic is keeping a very thorough check on me, having to go once a week now.

Want to wish you both the best for your 2ww and stuff, take care, maybe we can try and catch up in the chatroom.

Love
Chris
XX

Hi Chris and RLV,

Hi girls, So great to hear from you. Rachel, I am so so sorry to hear your news, I have often thought of you and wondered how you were getting on. I wish you all the luck and love in the world for next month.

Chris, you fat old thing! Great to hear from you but sorry to hear about the complications. February is just around the corner!! Enjoy every moment.

I am in the 2ww and hyperstimulating - trust me! Feeling very crap. My specialist says good chance I'm pregnant because of the hyperstimualtion, I told her not to be so bloody stupid. Period pains are absolutely dreadful. Don't try and convince me Rachel coz i know my body and I know af is well on her wicked way.

Hope to speak to you both soon

Lots of love and hugs

Tracey
