Good Thursday Morning to All :D

Chriss-your PMA is infectious :D keep spreading the good faith. From you last post you sound at ease in the hands of your new RE. That will go along way during this journey. Great news about your uterus :)

Sonia-hang in there. I certainly can relate to the mood/emotion swings. Like Chriss said you are in good hands. We're thinking of you. Sending some more PMA your way :)

Amy-how are you doing? sending lots of baby dust your way. Looking forward to you joining me with a big fat BFP :)

So, guess what? I got an appt in 2.5 wks at the first clinic I called :D Not only that I'm seeing the doctor many friends have recommended in the past, Whoot Woo! How did I get so lucky? The clinic is associated with the same hospital system that my RE clinic is :) they all use the same electronic record system, which makes paper work easier on my end [not having to carry a tomb from one clinic to another]. Interesting, I have to bring proof, letter form, citing that I am preggers. Given the clinics share the same patient files I just naturally assumed they would access that information. Well this is a case of what happens when you ass-u-me ;)

Hello to JenB, Yasmina, Tammy, Luanne, Pricecake, Andrea and anyone else reading these threads :D

Wishing Everyone Well. PMA to all.

Hi all! :D

catharine - sounds like everything is really falling into place for you! Great that things have worked out with the new doctor! Looking forward to hearing more good news from you!!

chriss - hooray that everything went well with your hysteroscopy! glad you feel like you are in good hands - it makes such a difference!

sonia - I'm really so sorry to read that you are feeling so down these days. I do hope once these test results get over to your clinic, that they can give you new hope and new direction. I'm sure you feel a bit lost right now, a bit in limbo. I'm really hoping you'll be back on your journey very soon. Thinking of you!

jenb - hope you had a fabulous time with your parents and could just relax and kick back. Hope you got a few days of nice weather!

I'm doing well -- in the 2ww as you know -- they transferred 2 blasts on Monday and I've been taking it easy ever since -- keeping warm, relaxing -- that all ends tomorrow when I have to go back to work! Hope it won't be too much of a shock -- but seriously, my job, luckily, isn't very stressful -- I'm actually looking forward to seeing my co-workers again to take my mind off things and let the time fly by a little bit faster.
I go tomorrow to have my estrogen and progesterone levels checked. I test on the 14th.
I actually still can't believe I've made it this far! But, I'm really very happy. Looking forward to joining LuAnne and Catharine with a bfp!
:D

Big hello to everyone reading!
Thanks for all the good thoughts, you ladies are great!
xx Amy

I am struggling this week . Had a good week lasst week and managed some sun at the weekend. Everything has been overshadowed by Dh and work stress. Cant go into too many details just that he thought his boss was actually listening to him, working with stress at work ( for all emplyees) and changes to structures needed within the company. Ths ha been going on for 9 months constant campaigning for changes to staff etc. No one will stand up to the big boss . DH has been. Now we find out the BIG boss is putting the boot in . Big time on his back putting more pressure on him to meet targets or will loose his job. There is a lot more in between the lines here i cant say....
DH is good though spoken to a lawyer who states we are ok and law on our side so he cant get sacked. But DH is so pissed off with the company and is now looking for a new job. He has put mega work hours in the past 2 yrs as well as his Heart and Soul in this job . My heart goes out to him he is so destroyed by the injustice of it all. We relocated here 2 years ago and totally love where we live, and defo dont want to move. :?

it also means that IVF discussions are on the back burner for a good fews months....that sucks x x x

love to you all will catch up soon...amy hang in there

CATHARINE - Wonderful news!!!

hi LuAnne - how are you and your babies? When is your due date? You must be getting close and very excited! So nice of you to say hi!

jenb - sorry to hear of the rough times DH is having at work...just when you think things are going smoothly, too --- that is really, really too bad. Hope the situation settles itself in one way or another for the positive very soon! Wishing you both all the best of luck!

How is everyone else? Catharine? chriss? Sonia? Yasmina? Tammy?

I'm finally into the 2nd week of waiting! Having occasional cramps and pains and hoping that everything is happening for a positive reason...I really don't remember how I felt the last time, so I don't have anything to compare it to. Been resting whenever I can, eating well, trying not to overdo it at work, and really hoping for a positive outcome...would be a dream come true!

Big hello to everyone!
Take care and enjoy your week!

Jen, thinking of you. So sorry to hear DH is having such a tough time at work, after putting in so much time and effort to make things work too. I can’t imagine how frustrating it is for you both to confronted with such problems at this time. Hope things make a turn for the better very soon. We are here thinking of you and sending you PMA to get through such a difficult time. Hugs xxx Thanks for the advice on meds for lining – such info is always appreciated.

Amy, I can’t believe it, less than a week until testing, though I know it must seem like a lifetime to you. Does that mean you will know before the weekend? I do hope so. You are sounding very cheerful. Here’s some more PMA to keep you going. Image Hang on in there. You’ll soon be joining Catharine with a BFP!

Catharine – glad things are going so well for you. Great news that you get to go to your 1st choice clinic and doctor. Hope that means the clinic is near your home too.

Chriss – good news about your uterus. Sounds like your new RE is helping you get back on your feet. Hope you’re OK?

Luanne – lovely to hear from you. Please send more news of you and the babies when you can. How close now?

Anna – how are you and Matthew? Are you back at work full time? Hope you can organize everything to still fit in plenty of time with Matthew.

Yasmina – looking forward to you reporting back from your trip to China. Hope you’ve been having a great time with family and friends. Will you be joining in the fun here again soon?

Thanks so much to everyone for your positive thoughts and encouragement. Just what I’ve been needing and I have been feeling better. I suppose I’ve just been feeling a bit alone with my problems and worried that the delays will never end. I called the clinic end of last week to ask when we can expect some news and was told that it would take about another week until the results and report are ready to send to us. So that’s more waiting but could mean that our specialist is spending some time to think things through.

Love to all

Sonia

Catharine, so glad that things worked out for you with doctor of your choice. Excellent. How have you been feeling? Does it seem real yet?

LUANNE, it's been a long time. So glad to hear that you and babies are doing well. Please keep checking in with us. Your support means so much.

Sonia, hey there buddy. Ah, the waiting. Sorry you have to keep waiting all the time. You are so right, your specialist is taking the time to really look into your situation. That's good. You are a trooper. Your persistence will pay off. Thanks for asking about me. I am doing very well. I just feel so much better now that I am going to a new RE. My old RE was great, but if I stayed there, I would go into it with a negative feel. The new RE has me feeling hopeful. And yes, good news about my uterus. I was happy to get that report. Hang in there. We will get ours. :D

Jenbabes, I'm sorry that this has been so difficult and a big strain on DH as well. You do have to nurture your relationship. That's very important. It's great that you have the insight to see that.Taking the time to think it all through will do you good. You do not have to make any decisions at this time. Rest.

Hi Amy, keeping that chin up? Keeping that PMA in tact? How are you feeling?

Tomorrow I go in to see old RE to tell him of our new plans and to thank him. We also go to new Re for follow up on hysteroscopy. He will also do a "sounding" or a mock transfer to check out that crazy curve i have. Want to be prepared for upcoming treatment. All is good. Thinking positively.
Enjoy the day. Look forward to hearing from you all soon. Hi to everyone I missed. -chirss

just popping in to say hi to chriss - you sound great! so happy for you. you are on your way to your bfp, I can feel it! Good luck with your two appointments this week.

sonia - waiting takes patience -- but then good news comes to those who wait. I'm sure your specialist is doing his best to give the most thorough report to your clinic so they know how to proceed with a new direction to get you to that transfer point and beyond. wish the weather was a bit better to get you into a more upbeat, hello spring feeling...that will come as well!! Hope you're still dancing for the fun of it and to release a bit of that pent up emotion -- thinking of you. You're never alone, we are all always here for you and know how you're feeling.

jenb - you guys are really going through some tough times these days. Like chriss said, it says a lot to be able to step back and take care of your relationship first and foremost, the rest will eventually fall into place and you'll end up on your feet again and moving forward to bigger and better adventures.

oh man, this wait is a long one!...but I'm really doing okay...when I start to have my doubts, I work on getting my PMA back -- Except for a few minutes ago, I have to say, I'm feeling cautiously positive - not for any particular reason. I just have a feeling it has worked -- at least I want to believe that it has -- of course, who doesn't? still have that long weekend to get over till I can go for my test on Monday...Am trying to plan a saturday night out with DH to keep us occupied, then I hope I have to go into work on Monday, so the day will go by quicker...

Hello to LuAnne - please tell us how you and the babies are doing! wishing you all the best for a smooth delivery.

Hi to Anna, Yasmina, Tammy, Catharine - hope all is well with you and everyone else reading these days!

Thanks again for all of your support and encouragement!
xx Amy

Hi Amy, really hoping this is your time! Hang in there. I know how tough this part of the wait is... it's unbelievable. The rest of the world has NO idea!!! But, we do. So hang in there girl. Not much longer now. Keep busy and don't worry because worry is a waste of time. Be positive. Feel good. Be well.

I hope I can inspire you ladies to keep picking yourself up & trying again because I had a very very long road to get to where I am now. There were a lot of times I didn't think I ever would. I have never gone into my entire TTC history but it dates back several years, includes a lot of challenges & issues, tests upon tests, false leads and unnecessary treatments, wasted time & money, surgeries, miscarriages & many infertility & ART treatments that failed, thousands of tears & much heartbreak. I am so glad I persevered because I had begun to have feelings that it just wasn't going to happen for me for whatever reason. I felt there must be something uncommon wrong w/me that no doctor could diagnose. I was wrong. Those are just feelings of (destructive) self-doubt I would allow to creep in & sabatoge my PMA, which we all agree is necessary to get a BFP! I know it can be mentally awful, and there were times I had to step away & reassess things for a period of time before I could go back to it. I finally decided if I exhausted all reasonable options & failed, I would at least not do the, "what if" thing to myself w/unanswerable questions; I would know in my heart I tried w/all my heart. Plan B was simply for my husband & I to indulge in an exciting, exotic lifestyle we couldn't have had or been able to afford w/children.
Fortunately we got our Plan A but I have a wonderful DH so Plan B would have been really nice too. Good Luck & God Bless to All of You!!!

I am being checked frequently and so far so good. I'll have more details soon I hope.

LuAnne - A few days after I joined this thread, you got your BFP, which was so inspirational to me that it really can work. Thanks for your story and for all of your support and for not giving up on yourself - and now your dream (aka Plan A!) is coming true. How truly wonderful. Looking forward to hearing how your babies are doing.

chriss - thanks for checking in here and offering your encouragement and words of wisdom during this time of waiting and testing and waiting that you are going through yourself. Hope the commute to your clinic doesn't bring about too much stress and that you can find the positive in every step you are now taking. Thanks for the sparklies! Good luck today with your appointments! I'm sure the "test run" will go very smoothly, just relax and breathe and it will be over before you know it.
I liked that -- don't worry, it is a waste of time -- so right...what is done is done at this point...So far I haven't had a giant urge to buy an hpt, okay, let's say overwhelmingly giant urge  ...I'm going to wait this time and keep my PMA instead of losing my sanity! Monday will roll around like always and this eternally long week will be over... :D

Wishing everyone a good end to this week! Hope you are well Sonia and Catharine, Tammy and Yasmina and JenB! and everyone else reading along for fun.

xx Amy

LUANNE,
That is just the message I needed to hear right now. Thank you. You are an inspiration to me. Glad that you are well. Take very good care of yourself!!!
Image

Amy, hi there pal. How are you hangning in there? I don't remember if you are at work or are taking some time off. I hope that you are keeping busy, it helps make the time go by. I really really hope this is it for you!!!
Image
My appointments went well yesterday. Met with old RE and told him of our plans. His door is always open for us, so that felt good to hear. I will genuinelly miss him. Crazy how we can become attached, huh?
Image
New RE got right into my uterus without hesitation yesterday for mock transfer. I took a valium to relax myself. (Must confess I am not a drug taker and this was a big one for me. I was nervous. SIlly huh?) But the drug did help to relax me and I will definately take it to chill myself out during the real transfer. Much better than anesthesea. (HOw do you spell that?)
Image
My DH came with me to therapy appointment with the therapist I told you guys about (Has been through IVF herself). It was very productive and he agrees to come again. Good for us!!! She is good. Is trying to help me to keep it all in perspective. And is helping us to understand each other through this crazy process.
Image
Girls, thanks sooooo much for the support. It means the world to me. You are all in my thoughts.

chriss - so very happy all is going well for you at the new RE!!!! And that the therapy seems to be doing its thing as well -- You sound like you are on your way to being able to make this work for you. I'm really so pleased and wish you lots and lots of PMA and sticky baby dust whenever you need it!

hope everyone else is also doing well -- Catharine? Sonia? LuAnne, JenB? Tammy, Yasmina, and anyone I am forgetting - sorry about that --

I'm okay - having a down day right now -- but I knew it would probably come sooner or later -- trying to turn things around and still believe it has worked -- Monday seems like sooooo far away...Today is just the first day I'm feeling some cramping like AF, so I am afraid it might be over.
I've been back at work since the middle of last week and have to go in today -- I have the weekend off and will get my schedule for next week when I go in today -- I hope I am off on Monday - otherwise I might have to wait to test until Tuesday --

I'm hanging in there, but just don't know right now. Have to find my secret stash of PMA I've got somewhere around here to get me back on track for the next few days I guess!! :D

Wish me luck! xx Amy
