Hair Loss !!

Post by tshepher » Mon Dec 02, 2002 12:54 pm

Hi all Apart from the joys of IVF to deal with it would appear that I'm also now going bald!! OK maybe a bit of an exaggeration but I am losing a hell of a lot of hair. DH seems convinced its the swings in hormones caused by all the drugs I was taking (we failed our cycle last month) and that seems logical but just wondered if anyone else has had the same thing happen?<br>Been away from the PC for a couple of days and can't beleive how much I've missed so Loads of love to everyone out there Terri

Nice sharing.
If you are a woman experiencing hair loss, and you think it might have something to with your diet, why don't you consider changing your diet? That might be a clue that it isn't so great. If I ate all meat, that would be extremely bad too.

I think you have to cure it by an acupuncture. Acupuncture to the scalp is regarded as a safe and painless way to reduce and regain hair loss. With acupuncture to the scalp, the goal is to increase the blood flow to the head. Other way is The search for to find alternatives for conventional pharmacological measures, since these often have extreme side effects. One of these alternatives is homeopathy. And last is Aromatherapy. It has been used successfully by some people to treat thinning hair and bald patches.

Androgenetic hair loss is seen in both men and women but is more dramatic in men. Thyroid disease, anemia, protein deficiency, chemotherapy, and low vitamin levels may cause hair loss. Alopecia areata is a form of hair loss produced by the autoimmune destruction of hair follicles in localized areas of skin.
