Hey Ms Lola you deserved this and it sucks to think that again the Octos have been denied something that they long for... I am sorry that you have to go through this yet again. I am so prying that 2007 is a good year for us and there is always room for you on life raft number 4 although with my ever expanding arse we may have to sqqeeze on. WE will succeded and get our BFP that is rightfully ours. Take some time to yourself and drink as many coffees as you want to know and drink those lovely acoholic beverages to your hearts content.

Steph I know i just popped in to Lolas own thread but work is really hectic at the moment and when i get home the last thing i want to do is look at a computer... PLease forgive me...... By the way my accupuncturist said go and see an accupuncturist as they have an extreme amount of success with turing babies with accupuncture. They said it is amazing that they stick a pin in and the baby just rolls over.

Littles did AF arrive and have you started stimming... Log on and let us know how everything is.

Jen Girl how you going?? I hope your doing OK. How are things over there is it getting cold?

I have sent you ladies something via email that may make you laugh about me working for santa for christmas....I laughed at it alot and i am not in the christmas mood myself yet but hope you guys enjoyed it... I am still having second thoughts about going back in January as I relaly want to lose the weight that has found me as I think it really makes a difference for the eggs and them sticking. I will try to lose a bit then go back but I am not going to waste my time if I am not losing any weight to hang around if you knwo wheat I mean  . If i succeed i will keep going on the weight loss but if I don't I will then get ont eh IVF band wagon... Wish me luck...no don' worry about it we need all the luck for our BFP in 2007..........later Walshy

Couldn't type yesterday as the site was down for repair.

Loops- how you doing babe? Cry, cry, cry, it helps the pain but then i know you are made of strong stuff and will bounce back and kick this ivf in the ass. Will be here for you girl, we will beat this and get our bundles

Walshy - Great to hear from you. I have been out running and feel better for it but don't think any weight is coming off but then again i won't be weighing myself. I used to get obsessed with the scales so they are not visiting my new house---no no no.
Weather here is crap, raining continually and getting dark and cold, will have to resort to the whisky if the sun doesn't come out soon

Littles - Has the witch arrived? Let us know the dates lovely, we'll be here for you. When does the studying finish?

Steph - Aahhhh bliss had a lovely cafe latte and cup cake today as a treat, it was heaven in this cold weather.
How you feeling? Has madam done a somersault yet?

So more ugly news for us. Had the police in last night as my pride and joy---yep the mini cooper had spray pain put on the bonnet yesterday at work, and it was in the garage  . Can't begin to tell you what i called the people who did this but i'm sure your imagination will guess that one.
Anyway the good news is i took it to the dealer today and they removed it without any probs in about 10 mins. Thankfully we paid extra for a special treatment to be sprayed on all the car when we bought it and it protects the paintwork so the spray pain just rubbed off with 'magic cream' from the mini garage ---thank god

Ok off to wrap some more chrimbo pressies.

Love Jen x

Hey Tootsie Rolls!

Was quite a shock to system to try to check in and not be able to.... glad it is up and running again!

Lola-lewy... luvin and huggin ya from afar.. how's sweetpea? hangin? no giving up.. will happen!

Jens- what rot about your car.. .people are evil!!! so glad that was qucik fix for ya... would be nice is everything worked like that heh? I am actually jealous of your cold weather.. ours has left and we are now in the 50's... not very Christmassy... I like cold for the holidays, all the better to snuggle up at the fireplace.

Walshy.. so good to hear from you.. ease my achey breaky heart! I think I should be wishing you luck on the weight loss, but am not sure.. to me it sounds as if you are kinda hoping it doesn't work so you can begin cycle... true? Well, whichever you are hoping for.. luck! I tried to pull up what you sent to e-mail, but it did not work? was really looking forward to a laugh too.. craps!

Littles- papers/studies not over yet??? give us the goods girl? when is cycle beginning?

As for Babygirl... she is still breechy baby according to ultrasound on Monday. No flips. space is getting quite limited, so the chance that she will do the hokey pokey turn is slim and fading.. about the only thing slim in my world right now! I am retaining so much water I had to rid myself of wedding ring.. now look like poor unwed mother. I feel like wearing a shirt saying.. "am married to babys daddy" .....So, anyhow, still breech... you know what that means... it means that I will be scheduling a c-section at my next appt on Monday for the 39th week... which is 2 weeks from Tuesday!!!!! holy crapoly... i will have bundle in 2 weeks! am so excited to have her I am hoping she doesn't flip at this point  then I will be assured to see her in two weeks time.

Ok luvah beans...
off to pretend to work!

FINALLY! Have been wanting to post for days... computer issues AND then wretched site was under maintenance...

Poor Poor Lola... I went into shock there for a long moment. That eternal "why" echoing in my head...I feel for you so Lola.. this just sucks MAJORLY!
I hope that you are taking care and enjoying the warmth of your dear DH's embrace. It's no consolation I am sure (not his embrace, the trip), but you will have an exciting time in NYC.... oh poor Lola...

Do I dare say that 2007 is our Octoyear?... pff, not entirely convinced  . So many have gone past with me thinking it would be my year and yet I am still here hoping. Life is cruel sometimes...

Studies are nearly over...thank goodness... then I can get back to my dvd watching and reading

Have decided to put on Xmas show and have invited 2 couples to Xmas dinner... have I mentioned that I have NEVER cooked a bird that big in my life... argh... stress begins! It will at least take my mind off the FET  I am waiting for Day 1 of AF at the moment... should be imminent....we shall see. I'll keep you posted  Tummy is cramping so not long now... honestly, not sure how to to feel about it all... pushing it to the back of my mind at the moment, because it could be cancelled like the last time. Not sure I feel up to the disappointment again! Anyway, sorry... feeling a bit down in the dumps again... Lola's news was crushing...and end of the year without baby (feeling sorry for myself)

Jen, argh... my goodness, I would have gone medieval on their asses had I caught them (I have anger management issues!) Your poor car. Good investment with the coating though...how's life for you at the moment?

Steph...yikes... still breached... I CANNOT believe little Faith will be with you so soon... how time flies. I can't imagine your excitement...Will be thinking about you... our second Octobabe...

Walshy... glad to hear you are keeping busy... you cracked me up with your dancing Elf.... ahahhahaha! Very funny! Can understand about not wanting to spending a moment longer on the computer when you get home. I am about ready to throw the thing from the 24th floor!

Lola... all my love....and warmest hugs...

Missing not having friends like you here...

Heaps of love,

Littles :D

 Hi guys

Whats new then? Is life in our ivf bubble still s**t. Oh how i can't wait for 2007, feels like this year has been so stressful and tiring.

Don't know whats going on with my bod. Had my first af since cycle---or so i thought. Felt lots of activity in my ovaries and wondered if they had left twins in there (wishful thinking eh). So after 2 days of this my af finally arrived so just one more to go then we can start again in Feb---don't know how i feel about that one????

Loops - So hope your little heart is feeling at least a bit better.

Littles - Yyiiiippee studying finished, you can visit us more, well done, did you pass?

Steph - I'm sending some pma flip vibes over to OctoPrincess.

Walshy - Thinking of you in the sun, you lucky madam.

HAve been out to the cinema with my old keychild, been drooling over Bond again.

Will catch up maybe tomorrow, am on a sleepover so will log on if i have time. Thinking of you all

Just checking in to see how you all are.
Steph can't believe its all happening now!! So exciting!!! But what are we going to do for the next few months without you posting??? Will we still be here when you get back??? Of course we will.
Well I'm feeling good, wierdly. Was a little upset on Monday but since then have felt great. I think its the relief of having all that worry lifted away. Will make the best of it as I know this pseudo high will be followed by a why me low at some point......
I'm off to New York on Boxing Day - wooohoooo!!!! Can't wait, will be top laugh! Spending Christmas day with the out laws. 2007 will be better, 06 has been a tough trot for us guys. We are warriors of great calibre! See how we have weathered (several) storms! The life raft will be a bit cramped but cosy in February..bring it on!!!!

Sorry this is a short one
Take care soldiers!

Hey Octochicks...

Great to see Lola in high spirits... "New York, New York".... she's Liza M but MUCH better-looking

Well, yesterday was eventful... called the clinic to state that AF just arrived and they told me to come in immediately for scan..so I went and I have started my meds... next stop Thursday 21st to see how my lining is doing. Still not sure what to think about it all.
Given that I haven't yet handed in my end of course assignment  (Jen, I get the results in 2 months so I have plenty of time to forget about the assignment!), well, I am still a little focused on that  Probably a good thing. DH is home sick and may not fly tomorrow so lots going on at the moment.
Additionally, renovation of one of our houses in CH is going on and I am trying to pick out bathroom tiles from abroad (a mess!)

Anyway, it's good to be busy...

Jen - you're first on the list because you sound weary (virtual hugs!). This year hasn't been easy, has it? I wonder whether they will ever get easier. Next year will be huge if our last IVF fails because we are going to call it our last. Then will have to deal with being childless.... daunting! On to more interesting things: glad you like the new Bond...I was firmly against a blondie taking up where the lovely Pierce left off... but after seeing the latest Bond's incredibly sculpted bod coming out of the sea in yummy speedos...well, I quickly warmed to the idea of Mr Craig
So what are you getting for Xmas? I haven't bought anything for DH yet...find shopping for him so difficult...

Steph....the countdown for you begins.... I am still in shock... so is the nursery all ready? It's so exciting...am so very envious... you take care. :D :D

Walshy... what are you up to? Still busy busy bee? Sun still shining like crazy Down Under... temps have become very mild here and we have had lots of rain (pretty incredible actually!). I haven't seen this much rain here in 3 years :?

Lola... all my thoughts with you... hope you continue to feel sunny and positive... you're my hero

TAKE CARE all you Octo Fives out there...let's hope the big 7 brings us our bundles...

Much love,

Littles

Hello Ladies,

Just another quick one i am sorry i have exactly 20 mins until my husband gets back from dropping our visitors off to the train station and then we are going shopping to get the last 2 damn christmas presents and I will be a happy camper when that is all finshed let me tell you.....

well everyone seems to be in the same place as me about Christmas... Just wishing it was over so that the New Year would start. On a IVF note I start taking provera to get my period on Wednesday. I am both excited and apprehensive. I am still going to start losing weight and see what happens when Af turns up if i will leave it for antoher month or weather I will start injections. Will see how well I go with the weight loss...

Lola have fun in NY am insanely jealous that you are heading over there. Will it be snowing I want a white Christmas.....sigh.. I actually want a lot of things. DH and I have said if next year leaves us still with no children we will be going to NY for Christmas...

Ms Littles it is so good to hear from you. We must be unlucky people to keep missing each other on MSN. I am glad you liked my dancing elf. I have put people faces on it and sent it to them. It is such a funny thing i think that is the only Christmas thing that I like at the moment bah hum bug me... Studies over yet?????

Steph has Faith moved yet? You may have to have a stern talking to her and tell her that the Octos will be over to have a chat with her if she doesn't move soon. I hope she is more obedient on the outside then on the inside :D imagine what she will be like through puberty LOL.

Jen I can not believe it about your car. Damn it do they not know what you have been through already? I am glad it was a quick fix for you though but damn you must have nerves of steel by now or no finger nails left.

The weather here is quite cool which is very weird for xmas time although the country is covered in bush fires as it is still very dry. I will try and log on during the week but I am going on Wednesday away for the hols and won't be back until NY. There is no computers in the house and besides I wouldn't have any room to myself without people reading over my shoulder so I won't be able to post. I wish every one of you a merry christmas and thank you for your support during this last year which has sucked more than anything in the world......I hope 2007 will be a better year for all of us and Steph good luck with the birth and enjoy it as you have worked so hard to get this precious gift and she is nearly with you............
From Walshy

 Hi girlies

Seems we are all in such a rush at the moment, its defo this time of year that does it

Great to hear from you Loops. You must be feeling stronger or is it just that we are getting used to this hell? So jealous about your trip to the Big Apple, spend, spend, spend, you deserve it.

Steph - Feels like the last 9 months have gone so fast, its been the quickest pregnancy in history, bet you don't think that though eh?

Where are the photos you have promised us girls. There might be a protest yet from me, The Walsh and Littles if we don't recieve one soon.

Walshy, Littles and me - Seems we are all waiting on af to arrive in Jan so we can crack on with our next cycle. I got my lovely hospital envelope in the post yesterday with a prescription and an ovulation kit in it. This is all new to us so i will have to sit down and read through how this new protocol works but first the Chrimbo party.
Yep its all happening tonight, the big work night out. The nails are painted, legs de-fussed, tan on and dress ready to boogie the night away on the dance floor and have aching feet by 9pm  We always have a blast when we all go out together so i am finally looking forward to it.

I have to work tomorrow at 2.30pm though so will have to go easy on the old alcohol

Catch up with you tomorrow if i have the strenght  .

 where are all my girlies gone??????????

You must all be so busy organising to send my Chrimbo pressie over to Scotland---right????

Well the party is over and what a night. When all the team get together we always have a blast and this year was no exception. Its now 2 days later and i'm still recovering. I don't really drink very much so to go out on a nightout and drink until you drop is not adviseable  Anyway a great time was had by all and i have the photos as proof to blackmail anyone later in the year

I called the hosp yesterday and they offered me to start treatment now if i wanted, which surprised me as its only been a short time since my last cycle. However i said no and will wait for my af in Jan, which will be round about the middle of the month then we will try again  This time i have a whole new protocol and i will take hrt tablets then wait on ovulation and this is meant to boost my egg supply. If this doesn't get me more eggs then i think we will be near the end of me supplying the eggs for our treatment. Don't really want to think about that one, just hoping it works.

Ok where are you all hiding?? Will pop back later and see who is around.
